We will be following strict guidelines set out by both the College of Optometrists of Ontario and the Ministry of Health. We will be limited as to how many people can be seen in the day. Those with greater needs will be seen first. Our patients will notice that in-person care is different than it used to be but can be certain that our optometrists are working to ensure they are providing the safest care possible.
What has changed? A mask (covering nose and mouth) is required to be worn during the entire time you are in the building (unfortunately at this time we cannot see you if you cannot wear a mask). Our optometrists and staff that you interact with will be wearing personal protective equipment. We ask everyone to maintain physical distancing (greater than 2 metre) when able (exception given while being examined or fit with glasses).

I've been going to Napanee Family Eye Care for a few years now. Dr. Irwin and her staff have been wonderful. I am disabled due to multiple autoimmune diseases and they have bent over backwards to assist me and make sure I have received the vision care that I need. They have even seen me for emergencies when I am almost positive OHIP did not cover the appointments.
I was nervous about going in to my yearly appointment today as I am high risk of contracting COVID due to the immunosuppressant medications I have to take and high risk of severe complications due to lung disease. The protocols they

My name is Sherri and I have attended the Napanee Family Eye Care Centre for about a year following a concussion. I have an invisible disability and have a service dog. Dr. Zoe Briggs and all staff members have never been anything other than accommodating and welcoming. They have worked with my other care providers professionally and quickly. Dr. Briggs provided me with home vision exercises and properly placed appointments. I never felt that I was being asked to come more than I needed. I forgot about an appointment that I had and called about 40 minutes before the time it was supposed to be.

I very rarely post google reviews however Dr. Zoe Briggs, Amanda and the staff at Napanee Family Eye Care have been amazing! As a result of a very serious car accident with multiple injuries I also sustained a brain bleed which affected my eye sight and my speech. The vision therapy treatment I have received to date has allowed me to process information and actually read again. Without exaggeration, they have given me my life back. I cannot thank Dr. Briggs and Amanda enough, as they've given me my life back! - John R. Allen

I have been a patient of Napanee Family Eyecare since 2017. I was examined by Dr. Irwin. During that initial exam she found a rather troublesome issue and consequently referred me to a clinic in Kingston (where I also received excellent care). Dr. Irwin inquired if any other eye doctor said anything about it. I said never. Had it not been for Dr. Irwin finding that issue there could have been substantial damage.
At my most recent check-up I was seen by Dr. Zoe Briggs. She treated me with the same professionalism as Dr. Irwin. I also find the staff very personable and professional in spite of following
