With over 20 years in business, we offer a professional massage therapy practice that is centrally located on Corydon Avenue. We are unique to Winnipeg in that we have created a soothing atmosphere from the moment you come in which you can enjoy your massage therapy treatments. All of our therapists have completed a 2,200 hour course and are registered to practice in Manitoba.
They are all members of a respected Massage Therapy Association that provides them with insurance coverage and continuing education in their field. Only a Registered Massage Therapist is able to provide their clients with receipts which may be submitted to private insurance companies for reimbursement.

Services
Our 90 minute specialty massages are focused to treat specific conditions and to aid in bringing the body back into balance. Our massage therapists have taken additional training courses to learn these specific techniques. Communication is important during these treatments to ensure comfort levels are maintained, as the intensity of these treatments may cause some discomfort.
At The Pure Escape, your massage therapy treatment will be tailored just for you. Your RMT will work with you to determine the proper treatment needed to aid in bringing your body back to optimal health. The patient intake form that you fill out when you come in will assist your RMT in determining the suitable course of action that needs to be taken.
The Pure Escape is excited to offer a one-of-a-kind Massage Therapy treatment by Claire Weijun Zeng. This 90-minute treatment offers healing touch through a lifelong passion of learned knowledge of the human body. Claire Weijun Zeng's vast knowledge of human anatomy has been developed through years of study in both Eastern and Western medicine.
We have 16 Registered Massage Therapists on staff. Our front desk team will handle all your insurance paperwork and billing for you, no hassle. This will allow you to focus on one thing, your health. Take time for you, and allow us to do the rest. For your convenience we will gladly direct bill to all of the above insurance companies, and any other company that will allow massages to be direct billed.

Amazing atmosphere and best massage therapists - haven't gotten one I wasn't satisfied with to date! Also, this is one of the few places I know of that have the hole in the bed for you soon-to-be-momma's so be sure to get your pre-natal massages here before baby comes!! Huge fan of Pure Escape, I recommend it to all my friends!

We went while COVID-19 was quite bad, and I was quite anxious in general, but the freshly cleaned surfaces, masked employees, and receptive and kind nature of everyone working there put me at ease!
My Masseur, Jon, whose name happened to be spelled the same as mine, was fantastic! He asked great preliminary questions to get a feel for my injuries and stiff areas, and did a fantastic job working out the kinks!

Always leave feeling 100x better. Found my all time favorite massage therapists here after years searching for someone who can keep up with what I like. John is a magic worker for deep tissue work and I wish him all the best in his travels & Kristin knows all the right spots to hit with just the right pressure. I have been going to The Pure Escape for many years and if I could leave more than 5 Stars, I would! The staff are friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable and my massage therapist Leah is the best. Leah really takes her time getting to know you and address any concerns you may have about your treatment. She has helped me immensely. I highly recommend!

Love this place! The reception are friendly and professional and all the employees are doing a great job with Covid safety measures. My therapist Shay is the best! She's knowledgeable, professional and very friendly. She's also got those strong fingers for extra sore muscles. Do your body a favour and go see her!

I have been going to Pure Escape for over 12 years. My massage therapist Shay (on mat leave) and Shawna are fantastic. With the pandemic Rosario has stepped up the protocols. It is clean and I feel safe going there. Even the bathrooms now have touch-less faucets. I Love that they direct bill to my insurance company. The front desk staff make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. I highly recommend The Pure Escape.

They claim to direct bill to Blue Cross Veterans' Affairs, took my info, and waited until after the treatment to tell me that they hadn't been able to arrange it after all. However, I have to give them credit for calling Blue Cross after I left and finding a solution that will let me submit an invoice to get reimbursed after the fact. I'd suggest confirming that your direct billing arrangements are good to go when checking in.

Absoultly love this place for both the knowledgable massage therapists and excellent esthetians.
I have a connective tissue disorder which in turn causes a fair bit of muscle and joint discomfort/ tightness.
I have been seeing massage therapist Crystal for several years. I go about every 4 to 6 weeks. She has amazing knowledge, professsionalism and always friendly demeanour. The work she does on my back/neck is truly a lifesaver, allowing me to function.
The rooms used for the massages are nicely decorated in a warm peaceful decor. There is soft relaxing music playing and no outside noise

I've been here a few times, but after the last experience I had I'm never coming back. I've had the same massage therapist the last 4 or 5 times I've been (Steven), since all their other massage therapists are hit and miss, but Steven is usually amazing. Last time however, not only did my sixty minute massage last only about forty minutes (I was still charged for the full hour), he's recently grown a beard and kept stopping the massage to scratch his beard.
