Since 2001: Toronto Chartered Account, specializing in small businesses and same sex individuals and couples. I became a Chartered Accountant in 1989, and worked for mid-sized CA firms in Toronto where I gained valuable experience on how to serve small businesses, owner managed companies, and self-employed individuals.
I now specialize in small to mid-sized businesses and same sex couples, providing a complete range of accounting services from financial statement preparation of Review Engagements and Notice to Reader, Corporate Income tax returns, Personal Income tax returns, tax planning, Estates, Non-Resident tax, business consulting, business plans, assistance in filing HST and WSIB returns and T4's, T5's.
When I wound down my consulting company after retiring, it no longer made sense to pay the $600 per hour for my tax lawyer, and the minimum annual year-end filing fees of $5000 that my mid-size accounting firm charged for each for my two companies that still had assets but no income.

Started with Hema Murdock this year and the difference in service is incredible!!! Everything done efficiently with great accuracy and ON TIME!!! Her staff is also excellent and they laid out every detail of our business and personal taxes so that we could finally understand them ourselves.We can not sing enough praise!!! My only regret is that we did not discover her much sooner!!!
