Services
We see patients of all ages for any type of health concerns that arise including new symptoms or concerns, maternity care, palliative care, preventive health care, chronic disease management, mental health issues, sexual health concerns, vaccinations, mole removals and biopsies, pap tests and referrals to specialists and other allied health providers.
Family medicine residents are fully qualified physicians training in the specific environment of Family Medicine. Your family physician was trained in the same way to be able to provide you with the care you need now. Your next generations will need the care of the young Family Physicians we train now.
Windermere Clinic is offering Monday to Friday Walk In extended hours. A physician of the clinic will be available for your emergencies attended without delay or appointment every day from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. BC NurseLine provides 24-hour, confidential health information and advice. Anywhere in the province, call BC NurseLine to speak to a registered nurse 24-hours or a pharmacist from 5 p.m. to 9 a.m.

Dr Wadhawan has been my MD for five years. He is professional and compassionate which is so hard to find in an MD. His bedside manner is amazing and even my teenage son is extremley comfortable opening up to him. He goes above and beyond for my entire family. I would highly recommed him to anyone in need of care.

I looked for many years for a family doctor and hit the jackpot when I found Dr Loewen. She is such a caring, thoughtful and knowledgeable doctor. She explains the results of my tests in terms that I understand and includes me, my concerns and opinions, in decisions regarding my healthcare. I always feel that my health is in good hands with Dr Loewen, she truly cares about her patients.

Dr. Loewen is absolutely amazing. I just moved here from Ontario and spent forever looking for a new family doctor. I have NEVER had a family doctor that genuinely cares as much as she does. She is extremely intelligent, comforting, and well spoken. She pays close attention to detail, and focuses on very specific things in order to cater her care to each patient. She always makes time to discuss any concerns I have. She usually runs on time within 10 minutes of the appointment which is quite amazing.

We are not at all happy with the receptionists at this clinic. They are not friendly, completely not professional and make us feel like we bother them. My husband has to go through an unbearable nerve pain in his lower back for 4-5 months and really needed help from our family doctor and his staff. They said it is an emergency case and yet they never followed up with us. My husband was unable to move and was rushed to the ER where the ER Dr asked us to go back to our family dr for a referral. We called the receptionist to book an appointment to see our family dr as my husband was incapacitated

The receptionists are extremely rude and careless. they have an attitude and aren’t very professional. Dr Wadhawan has been my family doctor for years, and i have no problem with him at all. It's sad to see only 3 stars for a place with good doctors because its not their fault. from what i can see, most of the bad reviews are about reception.. I'm clearly not the only one experiencing bad service from the front desk.

My wife has been a patient here for many years. The front desk/reception/nurses are incredibly rude and belittling. As we sit here awaiting a room for an appointment that has been delayed 30 minutes without explanation, we constantly overhear their phone calls - in which they constantly are belittling and making fun of these patients. Nobody has gone in or out of a room since we arrived. No mention of being on a break or a long appointment with a patient. 32 minutes later.... still waiting.

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Danescu for approx. 15 years. I always was treated with care and professionalism giving me the assurance I am in good hands. I want to express my appreciation for accurate diagnose and the best possible treatment I received all these years. You may not see a smile on Front Desk staff faces but I never been disappointed during my experience at this facility or encounter any rudeness.

Parking isn't great, and it's usually very busy but what clinic isn't? That's the only negative.
The doctors however are very good.
They have a walk in clinic now too which is open from 3:00 on. You can call in to get on the list after 2:30 though. That is quite handy. They have moved downstairs an added a larger waiting room, a built in pharmacy, and many doctors. There is also a nice fountain in the common area. Note: do not park in the bowling alley lot as you could get ticketed. If the lot is full street park.

Called in to inquire about the wait time of the walk in clinic and the receptionist was very rude and short when she told me they can’t estimate the wait time. I understand the policy, but she was not kind about the way she told me. The doctor was very hurried, and dismissed us quickly. He told us to follow up with a specialist, but didn’t provide a referral.
