Phenomenal experience. Inventory seems unique and specifically curated. Some esoteric brands available that are beautiful.
Chris, the optician, was extremely knowledgable, helpful, courteous, and respectful. Couldn't have been more impressed with the experience - purchased a pair of prescription eyeglasses.
Any subsequent glasses purchases will unequivocally be done with Kaltenbock.

I needed a new sunglasses prescription
I Called Ali about a week and a half ago he asked me if I prescription was the same?
I walked in the store yesterday after he let me know earlier The glasses were in and five minutes later I was out the door.
As always a great experience with Kaltenbock optical. Ali and his staff are always so helpful totally professional !!!

Weird experience here today, when I was trying on frames. The sales person said I could remove my mask to try on frames, which I did. After a few minutes, she came back with a guy who started rearranging the frames I'd put aside, and she said I needed to put on my mask inbetween each frame I tried on. It felt like they were unhappy with me and thought I was breaking rules somehow.
It's possible they've had problems with people not wanting to wear masks before, but they need to be explicit if they have certain procedures, not pulling power trips on the average person. I left and said thanks, and

Normally do not write reviews but had to praise Kaltenbock. My face is difficult to fit. Big nose, head etc.. I didn't realize true comfort until I was fitted by the optician. They know their stuff down to the tee. He knew just by looking at me that I was wearing the wrong frame and the difference is great! I ended up getting nice, light glasses!

I cannot say enough good things about Kaltenbock. Ali is one of the kindest, most patient, and overall professional optometrist in Toronto. I came to Kaltenbock after seeing a well-known budget chain for contacts, who were unable to give me the attention to detail needed in a contact fitting. Everything the other doctor lacked was found in Ali, and more. He and his staff are knowledgeable about the products they sell, and also care about both the products and their clients. I love the fact Kaltenbock has true designer frames, aka not mass manufactured by a giant monopolizing corporation. Considering

I needed glasses after my eye test, went to check out the St.Clair center and stumbled upon an eyewear store.
Good selection, interesting glasses. they helped me find a pair i felt great in, not just your average shop with average frames. He also guided me into which shapes work best which i had no idea of. Now I know when i get my glasses here, i'll look and feel good! Very nice people

I had the eye exam here, and then brought a pair of new glasses from a different store. However, the new glasses weren't comfortable. I first talked to an optician and was told the glasses are not made according to the prescription. I talked to the optician from the store where the glasses were made and was told the glasses were made correctly and the eye exam should be redone. Luckily, I met Gus. He found the problems right away by checking the glasses and looking at how I wear them. The new glasses became comfortable immediately after Gus' fix. I definitely recommend visiting Kaltenbock for new

Every time I have dropped by Kaltenbock, whether to buy or not, Ali and his team always have made me feel very welcome. What I love is that they always re-adjust my glasses to perfection, have lots of beautiful selection, and are experts in knowing which frame suits my face shape while giving equal consideration even to where my eyes fall within the frame. Choosing glasses for oneself is not just about buying a great-looking frame; it is more important to wear a frame that looks good on you, along with the comfort level it gives while wearing them.
