Services
There is an endless amount of reasons to reach out for help. It can be dealing with past hurts, relationship issues, mental health issues, work problems, or just wanting to create a richer and deeper meaningful life. Dr. Gail has experience helping people with a variety of needs. She works with adults in an individual or couples setting.
I am a Certified Daring Way Facilitator (CDWF). The Daring Way is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brene Brown. The method was developed to help men, women, and adolescents learn how to show up, be seen, and live braver lives. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing a courage practice that transforms the way we live, love, parent, and lead.
During the intensive, we explore topics of vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness, helping to move from a culture of scarcity (never enough) to living wholehearted. The work also continues outside of group, with homework each night. So please be prepared to spend the time completely dedicated to you!
It takes courage to call for an appointment and even more to walk through the door of a counselling office. Dr. Gail helps to reduce the anxiety by providing a calming and relaxing office. Some clients report that it is like sitting in a living room talking with someone who is willing to listen without judgement.
There are more than 40 events that can create the range of human emotions called grief. Death of a loved one, divorce, and estrangements head the list. Whether your loss was recent or long ago, it may still be limiting your ability to participate fully in life. When is it time to do my "grief work"?
