I have dealt with Techville in the past, for passport photos and repairing my laptop and phone, receiving great service. I never thought I would buy fitness items from them, though…. until I saw the adjustable push up board. This time I got help from Patricia, who explained the features of the push up board: with different positioning that enables a full upper body / core strengthening regimen. Many thanks to Alex, who addressed my repair request, having facilitated a quick 1-day turnaround fix, in retrieving and saving my data from what I thought was an irreparably broken flash drive. Wonderful service. I had trouble explaining exactly what cord I needed (HDMI to VGA adapter) but Alex helped me and told me to take pictures if the one I bought didn't work promising to exchange it the next day if it wasn't right. I brought it back with pictures and he made the switch. Very friendly, very helpful and kind.

Never been so disappointed in my life I order a set of adjustable dumbbells with bench and I waited a week and called to have them refund my order due to not being able to ship to the rural area I'm from it took you a week to figure that out? What kind of customer service is that I would like to say avoid this company when it comes to purchasing from their online store I'm not sure about in person but horrible experience for me also I've noticed in their reviews they are stating that this store has nothing to do with their retail store well yes it does I even called this store to ask them to cheak

Brought in a watch for a simple battery replacement, took them 3 minutes to make many scratches on the backplate, then returned to me saying they don’t have the battery for it. They also denied causing damage when all of it was clearly caused by attempted plate removal. Do not bring your items here! Unqualified techs.

Went here to get my Iphone's screen replaced and they were super nice helpful and worked with me around my crazy work schedule.
They accepted my phone half an hour before closing time after I explained my situation and still managed to get it done before they closed. The job was very well done too, not sloppy or rushed at all. They even offer a 6 month warranty on the replacement screen!

My partner brought his laptop here last year. They held it for three days to "run tests" (leave it idling on the work table to see if anything happened) before telling him they had no idea what was wrong with it. He later described the same issues to a Future Shop worker and they immediately knew that his hard drive was going, which turned out to be the problem.

I brought my laptop to Techville to have a cracked touch screen replaced. Although there was a minor glitch with the repair, Techville immediately addressed the issue and made it right. Mohammed, the Manager, followed up with me personally to ensure that i was satisfied.

Don't go here for data recovery for your mac - first rate scam artists. The say they do it and also offer a rush charge to have it done fast which I paid the $100 for expecting to have it done in a few hours. All they did was open my macbook pro, and then call me to tell me they send macs out to a lab for data recovery and it will be another $350 and over a week to have my files recovered.

If I knew that when they sold me their rush diagnostic and fix service I would have just walked out and found something cheaper and faster in Toronto but I've already committed $100 to these guys

Do not go here for cell phone repairs. They rip you off. I took my cell phone in for a new screen even though the phone was still working fine. They fixed the screen and from there on in my phone would only work in their store. lol They then yelled at me saying my phone was water damaged. It was not water damaged. I had been warned about them doing this and before I took the phone in I took a picture (time stamped) of the green dot inside the phone to prove no water damage. The phone was expensive. They refused to fix it after taking 128 dollars. They then offered me a very cheap 125 dollar ZTE

I don't like being lied to and the manager there (not the owner but the day manager) lied to me about a pricing issue.

They have a big sign that says that they will beat all competition within Halton by 15%. I received 3 quotes elsewhere in Halton for fixing of the Note 8 screen that were all quoted the same price at $420.

I asked the day manager if he would beat that price by 15% as per the large sign in the window. Not only would he not beat the quoted prices I obtained, he would not even match it. He told me the lowest they could do would be $520.

When I pointed out the sign he said

They used to be better before they expanded their store. Now I find that everything is over priced. They tried to sell me a screen protector for $45. A little excessive don't you think. I wouldn't mind paying $20 or so since u can order online for $5 but these guys just wanted to gauge you. Thanks but no thanks.

I took my girlfriend's cell phone in for repairs back in Oct.23.2016.
It needed a new screen because she had cracked it.(Samsung 4 mini )
I was given a price to repair... But the counter person told me that for a few dollars more
I could get a Brand New Phone... but not a Samsung brand.I said that's OK show me what you have. (simple right)
I ended up leaving (Happy) with a Brand New Phone they transferred all her contact's and photo's to the new phone great job !!! .
Well 7 short month's later the phone wouldn't turn on... Completely dead... with or without the charger

Nice enough folks but the "warranties" are virtually useless on screen replacements. Still they did slightly discount the replacement replacement.

My experience with Techville has been less than terrible. Their customer service has been by far, the worst I have ever experienced. I purchased a sony xperia Z from Techville as well as the unlocking of the phone. While I was there, one of the employees had the ignorance to actually ask me who THEIR phone was locked to. I answered with "Bell". I said this, because I think that Bell is the only carrier to hold this phone. You would think a tech company, would know the carrier of the phone that THEY are selling.

I let that go. I didn't make a big deal about that. I was told that

For your own sanity I would reccomend to avoid this place. I spent nearly $200 to have a cell phone screen replaced only to have it die two months later. Conveniently for them their warranty on their repairs is a mere 30 days. The customer service is essentially awful as the owner of the company has told me that they do not cover future repairs on faulty work beyond 30 days. There are lots of repair shop options so please go somewhere with a better service reputation, avoid being ripped off!

This place is great. A local Mac dealer quoted me over $1000 to fix a broken laptop screen. In your dreams Mac dealer. Took it to TechVille and they fixed it for a quarter of the Mac dealers price in two days. My go to place for cell and computer repair and for cables and accessories. Good prices and friendly service.

Terrible service. Took them an outsourcing and over a week to decipher that something had spilled on my MacBook pro. Two of the parts (hard-drive and track pad) that they provided me with during the replacement have broken since the end of August. There's a complete lack of communication throughout the business - whenever I called, no associates even knew that my computer was being fixed and instead provided me with the manager's personal cell number. The manager never called me to update me on the progress of my computer until I called him several times at both the store and on his cell
