Dr. Matt Paradisgarten grew up in Thornhill. He completed his Bachelor's degree in biology at Princeton University in 2011 and went on to receive his degree in dental medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in 2015. In dental school, he was selected as one of only 3 students to complete a concurrent Master's of Higher Education.

We are here to answer any questions you have and we are all focused on putting you at ease. Our highly trained dental hygienists and certified assistants take time to show you how to handle and care for your braces whether traditional or Invisalign.
Our mission at Newmarket Orthodontics is to provide excellence in orthodontics in a comfortable and friendly environment. Our orthodontic office uses state of the art equipment and advanced sterilizations systems. We use latex-free gloves to avoid problems for our latex sensitive patients. Using latex-free gloves also prevents the development of latex sensitivity.
These restrictions allow us to offer the most flexible hours for regular adjustments and check-ups of braces and other appliances. If you need to change your appointment, please call our office as soon as possible. Once orthodontic treatment is started, the regular appointments are usually 5 to 8 weeks apart.
Our fees are affordable, in combination with high quality service and care. We believe that we offer great value in orthodontics. There is no fee for an initial consultation. However, there would be a fee for diagnostic records if they are taken at the initial consultation.
If you or your child is covered for orthodontics through insurance, we will be happy to provide all of the documentation needed for you to collect the maximum benefit that you are entitled to under your plan.

Thank you to Newmarket Orthodontics for the way they've handled and are continuing to handle the Covid situation. During the time they had to close the office, we received email updates, and were also given the opportunity to pick up some special flouride toothpaste (from outside the office door) to help keep our son's teeth healthy. The team at Newmarket Orthodontics are beyond professional and helpful. Dr. Cancelli is a perfectionist when it comes to orthodontic work and his team follows suit. Ivona and Laurie are so welcoming, not to mention, accommodating and knowledgeable. The same applies for all the hygienists that work there, especially Julia. I wouldn't trust anyone else but this team for my family's or my orthodontic work!!!

I have had the best experience with Dr. Frank. He was super supportive and eased my fears about getting Invisalign before my wedding. He was so professional but also took the time to get to know me and discuss the best treatment for me, especially considering the tight timeline I presented. I have taken both of my children to Dr Cancelli for extremely different reasons. My son had a congenital underbite, My daughter for run of the mill braces. Let me be perfectly frank (no pun intended) organizations can learn from the team at Newmarket Orthodontics the definition of excellent, professional and courteous service. Starting with the pleasant and responsive reception staff. The clinical staff are amazing. They are the definition of professional. Lets face it, they are not doing fun or painless things. Dr Frank and his staff provided excellent care for both my daughter and then myself who, after many years of procrastinating, finally straightened my own teeth. Invisalign worked terrific for me. I found the plates comfortable and very easy to manage. Every single person who works in this office is not only professional and personable but provide you with great care.

I have been a client of Dr Cancelli's for the past 5 or so years personally, and I've also referred numerous clients to him professionally (as I also work in the dental field). I have never heard of a negative experience in the slightest. Dr Cancelli is extremely professional and very particular with his work; he values his clients and treats them as well as their teeth with a great amount of respect. I would highly recommend Dr. Cancelli as an orthodontist.

We are currently visiting Dr. Cancelli's team with our third daughter. The results are amazing! However, what impressed us the most is that Dr. Cancelli is clearly not strictly a profit-making business. Our first daughter really wanted braces, for the fashion statement! Certainly her teeth were a little crooked but not really bad. In our… initial consult, Dr. Cancelli told us that braces weren't medically necessary to correct a problem but that he could improve the straightness of her teeth. I found it very refreshing to find a dental professional who takes his profession seriously enough

I had such an amazing experience with Dr Cancelli and his entire staff. I needed my teeth straighted for my wedding and I had heard such great things about him and his office I decided to Drive from Sarnia and it was more than worth the drive. Dr Cancelli was great he was extremely knowlagable and I felt completely confident after my visit. My teeth turned out perfect and I was so happy to have such nice teeth for my wedding. The office was supper accomadating and I had no problems with appointments. I highly recommend Dr. Cancelli!
