The health and safety of the children and our staff is our top priority. That is why we work hard to ensure we follow the health & safety guidelines set by the Ministry of Education and local public health. Providing individual containers/bins for activities such as sensory, creative art/ writing materials etc.

It is our mission to provide a healthy, safe, nurturing, inclusive, and play-based learning environment for the all children in our care. We hold value in establishing a peaceful classroom community for all children to feel safe and welcomed. We facilitate and support each child's overall development.
We are committed to providing a healthy and safe environment and for all the children. We strive to providing a warm, nurturing indoor and outdoor play learning environment for all children. Safety procedures include regular playground playroom safety inspections, sanitary practices, and monthly fire drill.
Our commitment is to provide a healthy, loving and nurturing learning environment for children to thrive in. We strive to deliver quality care that promotes the Four Foundations of learning; Belonging, Engagement, Well-Being, and Expression, as well as, the development of social/emotional, cognitive development, physical/motor development and language skills.
Our children are provided with hot nutritious lunches and snacks daily which are catered by the kitchen staff at the Island Public/Natural Science School. We adhere to the Canada Food Guide and are a nut free environment. Our nutritional meals include, a morning snack, hot lunch and afternoon snacks.
Our curriculum philosophy is based on the belief that children construct knowledge through experiences with materials and with other people. The learning opportunities our teachers offer evolve from the interactions of the children and adults in each classroom. Some describe this type of curriculum as an Emergent Curriculum.
