As the longest standing cooperative in Toronto, Manor Road Nursery School is conveniently located in Midtown in the Davisville Village community. Classroom: The bright and spacious classroom is set up with various learning centres to help children develop language, art, math, science and life skills.
Gymnasium: A full-sized gymnasium with different activities set up to promote gross motor development. Playground: A private, fully-fenced playground for children to enjoy the outdoors and develop physically. Age appropriate equipment is also available for children to explore. Children learn and thrive with our "learning through play" school philosophy.

Services
Our theme-based environment offers children the opportunity to explore and learn through many different avenues. Arts and crafts, dramatic play, gross motor and a learning circle are all part of the child's school day. Indoor and outdoor activities encompass a variety of developmental areas that help children flourish on a day-to-day basis.
Our families help run our school. Each family is involved by participating on the Board of Directors or through a variety of committee positions. Many of our families also participate in "duty days" whereby they have the opportunity to support the students and staff in the day-to-day operations of the school.
Children may be enrolled 2-5 days per week. Children under 3 can start at 2 days/week for a period of 4 months after which they are required to increase to 3+ days/week. Our teachers strongly suggest a minimum of 3 days per week to ensure a more fluid separation and transition into school. Being in school more days allows children the opportunity to solidify bonds with the staff and become accustomed to classroom routines.

We have had a fantastic experience with MRNS, and has far exceeded our expectations. Our oldest son (3 years old) absolutely loves it and always looks forward to going there each morning. The teachers are great and so enthusiastic. I would highly recommend.

This is a wonderful for learning for the children. The team of Ms Feryl, Ms Chris and Ms Camila. are wonderful. They provide a positive and playful learning environment to the kids. My daughter has increased her vocabulary and is able to articulate better. Of course this place provides kids with opportunity make friends etc. Highly recommend

We are so lucky to have discovered this wonderful place, where both of our children attended preschool. The teachers are incredible and put so much thought into their programs. Our kids loved it and so did we! I recommend it to anyone living in the Davisville area.

Such a wonderful experience!! My son has been going here for the past year and absolutely loving it! He comes home talking about all of the fun activities, crafts, and games he does with his friends. The teachers are fantastic and have truly gone above and beyond during this covid year. Would 100% percent recommend for anyone looking for a fabulous preschool experience.

I am so looking forward to next year! This school has been such a blessing for our family and helped our timid little boy break out of his shell and feel comfortable and confident with himself. His language skills improved exponentially, and he came home talking about all his friends and the cool things he did each day.
We couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience last year. The teachers are amazing and have a genuine *love* for the children; it’s so obvious. We have signed our son up for a second year and are so excited to see him continue to grow and thrive.

I would recommend Manor Road Nursery School to any family who wants the best quality preschool option for their child. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her year at Manor Road. The teachers are among the most caring and dedicated I have ever seen. My older son attended Manor Rd for two years. He had a wonderful experience! The teachers are engaging and creative and the extras like field trips, music and sport programs really added to the overall experience. I knew once my younger son was old enough, I had to send him there as well. He's just started and already loves it!

My daughter loved her two years at Manor Road Nursery School, so much so that we didn't hesitate to send our son there this year. He skips into school every day, with barely a wave to us, he's so delighted to be with his friends and teachers. Our daughter attended Manor Road last year (Sep 2018-June 2019) and has flourished under the love and care of this school and surrounding community. The teachers are caring, enthusiastic, creative and continually go above and beyond to teach, impart and nurture each child. The unique aspect of parent involvement is wonderful as my daughter now knows many parents of other classmates by name and have come to truly love them all as an extension of her family.
