A wet basement can cause significant implications on the health and safety of your family and home.
When considering an interior drainage system, are you encountering "water seepage" from the floor up, do you have a block concrete foundation wall or an old stone rubble foundation wall? If so then an interior repair may just be your best solution. To solve this situation an air gap membrane is applied to the area and an efficient sump pit and pump installed.
When looking at an exterior foundation repair, BBS applies triple protection. First a layer of waterproofing membrane is adhered over the crack in the foundation and all edges are sealed with a mastic compound. Secondly an air gap membrane is fastened to the foundation wall. And third another layer of mastic compound is applied to all edges of the air gap membrane to ensure a solid, final protection so that no water can enter the crack.
To avoid runoff from window openings into your basement, BBS will install a window well and drainage system that draws water away from the window to a drain at the bottom of the foundation. An air gap membrane further protects the foundation and provides a sound solution to your basement repair. 2. Riser filled with stone allows water to drain from the window well to drain tile at the bottom of foundation.

Had water showing up in my basement after the weather warmed up a bit, contacted BBS and Fab came over to look at the scene. He explained what happened and he was very honest and knowledgeable. Advised what I should do in order to keep the water away from the house. I didn't need any work done so I have not used their services yet but just the overall experience gave me a great impression! They quickly booked an appointment to Excavate, for exterior waterproofing, drainage system and interior injections. The men were very professional with immaculate clean up.
I had one small leek during a heavy rainfall after repairs and BBS stood by their warranty 100% coming within the hour before the rain stopped to inspect. They booked a second appointment for next day and no more leaks. Professional service with a smile.

With intentions of putting my house on the market, I contacted Mike at BBS about a damp wall in my basement.
Mike made time for me quickly, came when he said he would, did what he said he would, charged what he said he would, and after today's 25mm rainfall, my basement floor remained bone dry.
I would recommend Mike/BBS to anyone, and will use him again in the future if I ever need any basement waterproofing done again in the future -- even if I hope I never have to.
