Services includes: cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and support, for clients suffering from depression, anxiety, stress, loneliness, and addictions issues.

To book your session with a Registered Psychotherapist or a Nurse Psychotherapist please call us or email us and we will follow up with you. We only accept visa and master card for phone consults or Online consults. A statement of understanding will have to be signed and payment fee completed before having a phone consultation.
Services
CBT or Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a collection of skills and techniques designed to help people deal with life problems more effectively. Through practice, people form new mental habits that drastically reduce symptoms, promote well being and prevent relapse. The central principle of CBT is that our thoughts, feelings, physiology and behaviour all inter-relate and affect one another.
Low self-esteem can be the result of trying to live up to unrealistic standards. Usually one we acquired early in life and which are no longer relevant. As a result, your inner critic may be distorted or negative in what you may be are saying to yourself and how you may be viewing yourself. The inner critic actually thinks it's helping us, protecting us from surprise hurts or disappointments for instance.
Relationship conflicts can cause confusion, stress, anxiety, depression, and low self esteem. These relationship or marital discord and can lead to break up, separation or even divorce. With couples counselling we can help, often with counselling you may have a better understanding of the issue and is able to solve the conflict with the help of a caring therapist with an unbiased stance.
If we are serious about overcoming an anxiety disorder, we need to approach anxiety from every positive angle and perspective that we have available to us. Here we learn new methods and ways to change our old thinking patterns and habits. If we're always thinking and expecting the worst, then we will continue to suffer.
Stress is a natural, physiological response that involves a complex interaction between our mind, body, and environment. Stress is not inherently bad. In fact, we need a certain, optimal level of stress in order to remain alert and perform well. Ideally, stress prepares us to take action by activating our sympathetic nervous system and improving mental focus.
