John Mickelson began his career in law in California in 1982. On his return to Vancouver in 1984 he worked as a sole practitioner focusing on personal injury claims. His firm has grown over the years from himself with 2 assistants to what it is today - 4 lawyers, 2 paralegals, 3 support staff and an articling student.
Heather is an Associate focusing on ICBC claims, slip and fall claims, disability claims and other injury claims. She was called to the Bar in 2011 after graduating from the University of British Columbia Law School. She then began working at a full-service law firm in the Fraser Valley where she quickly developed a keen interest for personal injury law.
Sukhmani is an Associate specializing in ICBC claims, slip and fall claims and disability claims. After graduating with a degree in Criminology and Legal Studies from Simon Fraser University, Sukhmani started her career working for the government, but soon realized that her primary passion was for the law.

I was hit by a motorcycle while riding my bike. I got a lawyer who was not helpful. I had given up on the case. I went to John on a recommendation from a former client. Immediately John took over the case. He helped me get the best doctors and the fastest treatment. I had had injuries that happened at the time that were not treated because I was refused medical attention. John was able to prove these injuries had happened at the time of the accident.

My boyfriend and I were rear ended, he was smart enough to contact John right way. John and his team were able to give us great advice on good doctors and how to use our health insurance to our best advantage, etc. John and his team were through and efficient. I had an amazing experience dealing with John Mickelson's team. After my car accident I wasn't sure the best route to take in handling my case. Everyone told me that I should get a lawyer so I searched Google and decided to go with John.
