Galileo Coffee Company caf and roastery was nestled on the shores of Howe Sound in Britannia Beach, BC. Opening in 2005, we recently moved operations to Squamish. We were housed in the charming 1905 'Matheson House'. Once the home designated for the manager of the nearby copper mine and his family, our fare was modeled after a traditional Italian style caf; with a focus on in-house baking, quick eats and specialty coffee.
Customers enjoyed their coffee or tea while watching the waves roll in under the watchful eye of snow capped Mount Sedgwick. Galileo Coffee Company prides itself on small batch roasting. Small batch roasting enables us to bring to light the essence of the coffee and the flavor profile of the beans.

Services
Rule of thumb, only purchase the amount of coffee you will use in a week's worth of consumption. Freshness is key. Store your Galileo Coffee in the bag or air tight container. A cool, dark place is ideal. No fridges or freezers, they have odors and moisture the beans like to absorb. Weigh out 18-20 grams of whole bean, grind fine to espresso or to your preferred extraction.
