To keep you safe, we have made some changes and implemented procedures that meet Ontario Ministry of Health directives, as well as our regulatory college's guidelines. Orillia Synergy Healthcare Group is a multi-disciplinary clinic located in the revitalized building at 129 Front Street South. The term Synergy was selected as part of the clinic name because it means "working together".
We strongly feel that the collective and interactive approach of a team produces a greater effect and better result than that achieved by an individual effort.

One of the largest primary care professions in Ontario, chiropractic is a non-invasive, hands-on health care discipline that focuses on the musculoskeletal system. Chiropractors practice a manual approach, providing diagnosis, treatment and preventive care for disorders related to the spine, pelvis, nervous system and joints.
Massage therapy consists primarily of hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, specifically, the muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints for the purpose of optimizing health. Massage therapy treatment has a therapeutic effect on the body and optimizes health and well-being by acting on the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems.
ART is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART.
The SFMA is a movement based diagnostic system, designed to clinically assess 7 fundamental movement patterns in those with known musculoskeletal pain. The assessment provides an efficient method to systematically find the cause of symptoms, not just the source, by logically breaking down dysfunctional patterns and diagnosing their root cause as either a mobility problem or a stability/motor control problem.
NeuroKinetic Therapy is based on the premise that when an injury has occurred, certain muscles shut down or become inhibited, forcing other muscles to become overworked. This compensation pattern can create pain or tightness.
By applying light pressure that the client then resists, the practitioner can evaluate the strength or weakness of each muscle, revealing the sources of injury and retraining the client's body to remove the compensation patterns and reprogram proper ones.

Dr. Koughan has already helped my neck pain/range of motion tremendously after just 3 sessions! She is caring, kind and a wealth of knowledge. Her approach is holistic and extremely effective. Beyond that, the staff at Synergy is always so warm and welcoming. I cannot recommend Dr. Koughan enough to anyone looking for a chiropractor!!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. A friend recommended that I bring my gassy baby here for an "adjustment"(it's super gentle, not what you'd picture when you hear the word adjustment). Jeremy Clark is wonderful and I have seen improvements with my daughters discomfort since seeing him. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I don’t even have enough words to describe how amazing the staff are here, but I’ll do my best. Monica and Steph and Bri are so friendly at the front desk and make you feel so welcomed every time you are there, and they really know each and every person that comes in! Lauren has been phenomenal since the moment I first came to the clinic. She is so… friendly and helpful and really has her patients best interests at heart (and has fantastic taste in TV shows to talk about!). Janelle is amazing and so easy to get along with. She really goes into full depth to make sure every aspect

I have been seeing Dr Kitchen, Chiropractor, for over a year now and she's been able to help me tremendously. Thanks to the amazing support staff I was able to get in to see Dr Kitchen last minute on Thursday. I went in to have her work her magic on my hands but as always she went above and beyond. I'm 40 weeks pregnant and was telling her about… my hip/ back/ pelvic pain I had been experiencing over the last month. She set to work on those issues and I can't explain how happy I am. I haven't felt this good in what feels like forever. I can get up and walk without the pain I thought I'd

What a wonderful clinic. The staff and owners go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and cared for in their new, beautifully designed clinic. Deb and Andrew have not spared any efforts to make their practice one of, if not, the best in Orillia. Would highly suggest going here to anyone looking for rehab specialists.
