Waal & Co can help you with conveyancing when buying or selling real estate. Conveyancing is the process of transferring property from one party to another, and you should have legal representation to ensure its done properly. As your legal representative, Waal & Co will prepare and register all the relative paperwork and ensure that funds are transferred to the correct parties and act as a facilitator.
We will assist you and ensure all of this documentation is done accurately. A Statutory Declaration or Affidavit is a document where the person signing is swearing that they understand the facts contained in the document and the contents of the document are true and correct. Documents that require your signature to be notarized when you sign them involve seeing a notary public in person.
Wills are a critical tool for outlining one's wishes for the distribution of assets, guardianship of minor children, and the designation of an Executor who takes care of administering the estate. Despite this, a recent survey found that only 51% of B.C. adults have a Will in place. Without a Will, the Court will determine who will be the Executor, and the law will decide who is entitled to the estate.

Waal agreed over email to facilitate a sale out of province and claimed that they would accept a payment by cheque (and expressly said they DO NOT accept any other payment method including e-transfer and Credit Card) and also have the documents couriered same day as time was of the essence.
The day the documents were signed, they demanded payment in cash and when contacted that the agreed terms had been to send a cheque, the response was basically “oops”.

First the lady was late. Then they immediately separated my wife and I, forced her to go to Simpons to pay $300 to ignore their advice. "Don't like it? Go somewhere else." they said with 2 days before my house purchase goes through. The deposit amount they asked for was wrong so I had to get the extra amount the next day. And they had my account information wrong, so my first mortgage payment did not come out on time. Horrible.
