This new Fujitsu ducted heat pump is like no other! This unit is quiet and effective up to -20°, which means no back-up heat source or fossil fuels are required.

Replaced a very old heating fuel furnace that was at it's "end of life" with a new gas furnace.
Received a quote from Angelo less than 3 hours from his visit. Becky at the office, answered a few questions and altered our order to include a programmable thermostat with no problems. Sent updated information, and confirmed the install twice, at time of order, and again the day before. Their friendly crew were on time, paid attention to details, kept me informed as the install was happening, answered all questions. They double and triple checked the install. Checked the registers.

We were lucky to get a cancellation appointment shortly after I called for a quote. As soon as we met Angelo we could see he knew his stuff. We had two other appointments scheduled with local businesses but felt we’d found our installer with Coastal Energy. We told Angelo before he left that he had our business and cancelled the other appointments. They installed a gas furnace, removed our ductless air conditioner and installed an air conditioning system in two days. The two installers were wonderful friendly guys and worked very hard on our behalf. We’re new to Nanaimo and it was so nice to

I picked Coastal Energy because of the reviews I read online. I needed to upgrade my old oil-fired furnace into a new natural gas furnace.
In a word they are very professional. I did deal with Angelo, Jimmy, Dayton, and Becky. They were all very professional, helpful and courteous.
I am a picky client and every detail during installation that I wanted taken care of was addressed.

A week ago we had a Fujitsu Mini Split system installed to heat and cool the downstairs of our home. From Angelo's estimate to the professional installation we were impressed with the punctuality, cleanliness of the installers and functionality of our new heating system. We now look at our BC Hydro account and compare the present usage with last year's and are pleasantly surprised with the positive outcome.

I was really impressed with how thoroughly the Estimator/Sales Representative took the time to go through our home, discuss and explain options and recommend the best solution. (2 level home on slab). The installer was experienced, very professional, and friendly, planning his work to be the least disruptive to my work from home schedule. The system has performed well through a hot summer and I am sure it will do equally well this winter.

Paul and the guys at Coastal Energy were awesome to deal with! They gave us a great price and installed our gas furnace and central air conditioning unit in a short period. The crew arrived on time and worked tirelessly to get our home warm by the end of the day.
