Shapour started tailoring at the age of 11, under the watchful eye of his teacher. In his country he was tailoring for their "Hollywood". Arriving to Canada in 1991 he's worked for Townline Tailors, Harry Rosen, Burberry, Michael Buble (just naming a few). His passion lies in clothing. He has specialized in "recycling" men's suits, by giving men their old suit an "new" look.

I recently asked Shapour's to deconstruct, recut, and reconstruct a Burberry cashmere overcoat and a Canali suit (including removing double pleats from slacks). Shapour's workmanship proved exceptional and the results remarkable. No one would suspect, even upon the closest scrutiny, the degree of alteration to which these items were subjected.

I have been a customer of Shapour's Tailoring and Alterations for 6+ years, and in that time I have brought in over 50 of my most coveted sports jackets, suits, shirts, and pants for alteration. Each time, I have been fully satisfied with the final product. A real gem. Claudette and Shapour are more than tailors, they are friends who I trust with all my tailoring needs.

Thank you Shapour & Claudette for making my bridesmaid dress fit perfectly! When I brought my dress in, the bodice fit awkwardly and was uncomfortable, but they knew exactly how to fix it right away, and on top of being extremely knowledgeable they are also so kind and friendly! I highly recommend visiting them if you need alterations done!

Both Shapour and Claudette were the most well-mannered and likeable people I have met. The professionalism and quality of the work they did for my wedding tux set was more than exceptional, yet the cost was quite economical. Earlier this week I brought in a couple $150 dollar dresses of mine, where the zippers had broken. Shapour explained to me that the quality of zippers in the dresses were poor, and that is why they had broken. He replaced the zippers in both dresses within a week, and they honestly look better than they did to begin with as he added a extra seam to hide the zippers. Excellent customer service and workmanship. I highly recommend Shapour for all tailoring and alterations.
