Rick has spent his entire career in the building materials industry working his way up from the yard, to shipping, sales, sales manager, and general manager of a treating plant before founding Sidca in 2008.
Rick specializes in commodity panels and treating programs. Kam has been working in the wholesale distribution business since 1995 and has been part of Sidca since 2010. Kam specializes in specialty panels, off grades, commodity panels and dabbles in a little lumber. Paul previously oversaw Sidca's freight and logistics before transitioning to sales in 2018.

We are excited to announce the development of a new-to market, veneer-based engineered wood product- Mass Plywood Panel (MPP) manufactured by Freres Lumber. MPP is a massive, large scale, structural composite lumber-based panel designed as an alternative to Cross Laminated Timbers (CLT).
CLT products have been used in Europe for decades as a substitute for concrete construction and have recently been used in multi-story construction in the United States.Studies are showing that using veneer as a raw material for a Mass Timber Panel can potentially achieve the same structural attributes of a CLT panel with 20% less wood.
