Northern Building Supply Ltd was established more than sixty years ago by Bert Thomas. He bought an old sawmill in the area and turned it into one of the city's most unique, privately owned lumber yards. During the post-World War II boom, Bert evolved into a young entrepreneur.
He bought other lumberyards and hauled lumber with his new business called
