I had an excruciating back pain around early November 2021 and used several medications even visited Chiropractor, yet the pain grew worse over time to the extent that I couldn't do most of my daily routine activities. However, I visited Mackie Physiotherapy and met Regan in December. He thoroughly asked me several questions during my first appointment and one thing that endeared him to me was his knowledge, friendliness and empathy. He told me from the get go that his goal is to gradually reduce the pain and eventually eliminate it.. After my third visit and following his recommended exercises

I saw Mat Palmer over the summer about some limited shoulder mobility and pain. Over the course of a couple months, we were able to get my shoulder to a point where I no longer have restricted movement or pain. Mat was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and above all - effective. Throughout my treatment, Mat never once encouraged me to stop lifting weights, only recommending against movements that specifically caused pain. I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of care provided by Mat Palmer and Mackie Physiotherapy as a whole.

I was in a car accident and injured my back and neck. I had been seeing a different physiotherapist and not seeing results when Mat Palmer was recommended by a family member. I was very impressed with Mat's treatment plan, and genuine concern for my health to improve. He gave a great treatments and simple ideas for exercise to do at home. I saw much better results and improved tremendously. Thanks Mat!

Mackie Physio and Mat Palmer have truly changed my life. After injuring my hip while running and being unable to run without intense pain, I was referred to Mackie. I was very apprehensive at first, thinking that the pain would eventually fix itself. Mat eased my nerves by taking time to listen to my concerns, was easy to talk to and was very good at communicating how my hip pain was affecting the rest of my body and my running. Throughout my time with Mackie, Mat has built my confidence, physical ability and strength with the different exercises and personalized treatment plan that he has created

After dealing with chronic migraines for months and trying many different treatments, I saw Tyler Lang to see what he could do to help. Within a couple of appointments there was a huge improvement in the severity of them that no other treatment provided. Tyler truly goes above and beyond to provide the best care possible and is incredibly knowledgeable with diagnosing and treating all problem areas. With the collaboration of Blaine as well they have helped me in ways I couldn’t even imagine were possible and am so thankful for their help!

I am a big advocate for physio therapy and cannot recommend Mackie Physiotherapy (and my favourite physio therapist Nadia) enough to everyone when the subject comes up! Nadia has helped me progress so much from when I first started seeing her. Her endless patience and humour is definitely appreciated.
And if you are looking for a great massage therapist, Devan is fantastic over at the Evergreen location!
I strongly recommend both of these highly skilled women.

After having back pain for over a year and seeing several different specialists I visited Mackie Physiotherapy. After a few visits with Tyler Lang I was also referred to Dr. Cutting. He was the first chiropractor to take the time to take a hands on approach to my recovery. He took lots of time assessing my pain and then built a functional training program which allowed me to work towards being pain free. His approach to recovery is individualized and he believes one treatment does not fit all.

I had been in severe pain for several weeks, and after a visit to my Doctor that did not result in a diagnosis, my personal trainer recommended that I see Tyler at Mackie Physio.
I've been to physio in the past for other issues, so I wasn't expecting anything to happen right away. But Tyler had me diagnosed in our first session. He knew exactly what my issue was and how to treat it. I spent 3 months working with Tyler, he was fantastic. I went from not being able to stand up for more than two minutes at a time, to being fully cleared to run/bike/workout in about 14 weeks.
Tyler always reassessed

I have been going to Mackie Physiotherapy and seeing Melissa Derksen as my physiotherapist for a few months now and am so happy I found her.
She has helped me so much. She is kind, considerate and really knows how to interact with her clients.
I was doing so well and then had a bad fall a couple of weeks ago. I couldn't see Melissa to check out my injury to my knees as she was not in that day but I was immediately connected with another physio -Mathew who checked out my injury very thoroughly and was also very intuitive to my pain. He set me up with an easy, effect program until I could see Melissa

Hands down the best place to go for physiotherapy, I specifically see Tyler (wasn’t recommended, I just randomly chose him because he had openings) and I CANNOT say enough good things about him or Mackie Physio. Staff is awesome, always friendly, and Tyler is phenomenal at what he does. I’ve seen him now for 4 different issues over the past year or… so and he has significantly improved, if not, made the pain go away through the exercises he gives and therapy done in house. Have and always will recommend Tyler and Mackie and I’m happy to have a place and a person that I

I had to go to Mackie during the covid pandemic for an emergency treatment. I was absolutely blown away at their great precautions they have taken to protect not only their staff but all their patients as well! Thank you Mackie Physiotherapy for helping keep your patients healthy and safe 🙏 without your great team my fibromyalgia would be out of control. I'm so lucky to have a place who cares for my fibromyalgia and I can still feel safe during this pandemic
