In 1953, Jack Cewe with his wife Ginger, founded Jack Cewe Construction Ltd. Using a small inheritance from his wife, Jack bought a gravel pit in Coquitlam after working as a small but successful road builder. Three generations later, Jack Cewe Construction Ltd. is one of the largest independent gravel suppliers in BC and one of the longest tenured civil construction companies in Western Canada.

Since 1953, Jack Cewe Construction Ltd. has been serving Lower Mainland's aggregate and road building needs. Jack Cewe Construction Ltd. provides all aspects of civil construction, including excavation, placing gravel base and sub-base, underground utility installation, concrete slabs, sidewalks and curbs, and of course, asphalt paving and milling.
