If I could give no stars I would this place was awfull to my poor baby! I don't know who there but someone cut my poor kittens claws way to short most of them were all the way to the quick. No one asked me if I wanted my cats claws clipped so for them to go and do so without my permision and then butcher this poor guys claws should have a talking to. I would be very dissapointed if the person who did this to my cat did this to someone elses beloved fur baby. And whoever did this should NOT be allowed to cut claws... steer clear from this place if you don't want to have to re train your pet to be

Awesome experience from start to finish! They were able to fit me in later the same day for an appointment. The man who brought my dog in and out of the clinic was very friendly and Dr. Qi was great to talk to. Explained all instructions for my dogs ear drops clearly and gave tips to avoid another ear infection. I would definitely return!

My first impression was the receptionist/assistant whom is always is really informative on the phone makes me feel totally at ease and that’s actually why I started coming there:) Now that Ive met the the doctor and how amazing he is, I have nothing but glowing things to say about the whole clinic, you guys are fantastic. My pets always come back so relaxed. And honestly one of the best vets I’ve been too! I would hundred percent recommend clinic to anybody:)

Jane, Dr. Qi and the rest of the team are absolutely amazing! I could not believe how quick and effective acupuncture has helped my daschund this week!
I called having no idea what was going on with my chubby… guy Baxter and was panicking. It was last minute needing anyone to see him about his pain in his neck and shoulder. Not only did they get us in right away; they were so calming (for both of us) and very helpful explaining everything going on with him and had him on the mend in less than an hour. No extra unnecessary tests or painful prodding.

I recently took my roommates dog in while they were out of town and was not impressed. This place only has one doctor working and he seems so over booked I’m not sure he even really looked at the dog. He was in and out of the clinic so fast I don’t see how anything could have been done. I showed up for my scheduled appointment and at first no one even answered the phone, when someone finally did they didn’t even seem to know who I was or why I was there. Once we finally did get the dog inside the dr did what must have been a 2 second “exam” and then called us and basically told us there

Our cat Abby had a urinary infection and was in pain, and the Calgary Holistic Veterinary Clinic was able to see her an hour after I called! It was a quick visit, our cat wasn’t in pain after her antibiotic shot, and we couldn’t ask for better service. Thank you for making a stressful day less so :)

Very helpful when my cat may have had an intestinal blockage. They made time for him because it was an urgent matter and even though I couldn't be in the office because of COVID, they called me while I sat in my car and kept me updated on everything that was happening and sought approval for everything that needed to be done before doing it while explaining possible side effects etc.
Both of my cats were fixed and received their shots here a few years ago and it was a good experience every time. The resident cat is quite cute too (in the photo).

Dr. Qi and his team have been loving and caring for all of our West Highland Terriers for 15 years. Their kindness, focus and available treatments go beyond! Recently our girl Isabelle was riddled with an unknown allergy reaction and within a few hours we were in and treated with the latest treatment which worked. Dr. Qi is holistic, yet traditional and we love this about his scope of practice. Helen, Chris and Alanna are also brilliant technicians and clinic managers with the greatest love and concern for animals and their owners! ❤️

I do recommend Calgary Holistic to anyone that asks. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. Dr. Qi is very thorough in examining my pets and addressing my concerns with them. I had a cat that suddenly developed hepatic lipidosis years ago when there was a change in his diet. He was the vet that told me and also showed me how to force feed… him to get him over this illness. Vets that I had seen previous to him told me that unless I could get him to eat, he would die from this disease yet they offered no practical solutions as to how to do this. The holistic clinic must be the cleanest and most pleasant smelling clinic I have ever visited. My dog was not afraid and Dr Qui made her feel very comfortable with his friendly greeting, using her name. It is obvious that he is an animal lover. Sweetpea went with him for a procedure willingly, and came back with a smile. (My dog definitely smiles.) The staff are equally friendly and helpful.

Breeder recommended this place and Dr. Qi. I trust my breeder and therefore will drive out of my way to come here. Speaks volumes that a place is breeder recommended. She trusts Dr. Qi with the welfare of her litters and so far have only had to do routine vaccines so, so far so good.
