Even indoor pets run the risk of picking up harmful viruses, especially if they are boarded often or have contact with other pets. At Pembina Veterinary Hospital we provide pet vaccinations in Winnipeg and the surrounding areas.

Canine rehabilitation is a form of therapy that can help get your dog back to its old self. Just like with humans, rehabilitation by a professional is often required to help heal affected muscles and joints and help recover the same range of motion and function.

This veterinary hospital is, without a doubt, the best vet I have ever dealt with. I first started bringing my pets there when we were faced with an emergency situation and have brought them there ever since. Even though there are closer places to my house, I so appreciate their service, professionalism, and all around amazing care they give to my animals. I recommend them to everyone I know who has a pet because I just can't say enough good things about them. Amazing and so greatful for the entire staff there.

Positive: Professionalism
I don`t know what the negative comments are about but, I just took my cat in, very professional and kind staff who looked after us like family. R.I.P. Buzzy

I’m not usually the type to post reviews but after reading some of the negative reviews for this place I have a feeling that people mostly write reviews when they are upset and many of the good experiences are not written.
My puppy had parvo and when I brought them in they were taken immediately and treated. The were super friendly and caring from drop off to pick up. I loved my experience with this clinic and was super happy with how they kept me informed during my puppies stay.
My only reason for removing a star is because on the vet bill they left instructions for care once my pup was home

This is the worst place to take any animal!! I will never deal with them again!! Because I refused to take my cat back there for a follow up, they had the audacity to call the Humane Society on me saying " I was mistreating my cat ", I of course wasn't. My cat had a uti that needed antibiotics twice in less then 2 months. I put him on cranberry juice for cats and continue to give him that plus wet food and it has corrected itself. These guys are only there for one thing that is money. They don't care about your animals!!! They are the worst vets around!!

Positive: Professionalism, Quality
Our animals have always sought good care here. The staff are caring and vets are well equipped. Pricing is high but to be expected given emergency. Thank-you for saving our munchkins on more than on occasion :)

Definitely should’ve read the views before bringing my cat to this place…
Had to drop my cat off to be treated for a urinary blockage. Handed my cat over at the door and the person was about to just walk away without any word or information about what to expect. They don’t give any information unless you ask. Cat spent 2 nights in the vet which was a total of $1800. Didn’t get any information on what they did during his stay or what the problem with him was. I was just told to bring him back immediately if he still wasn’t able to urinate. After his visit he had to be brought back in

My cats eye had been punctured really bad, they took a while to get to her but I guess “technically” it wasn’t an emergency. They never called me saying she was done so I called them and they told me to come pick her up. They were very on my a** about paying which is normal but it just gave me a weird vibe as a had already pulled out my card. I wasn’t allowed to sit there with my kitten when this was her first time ever at the vet and she was terrified. The top reason why I’m rating it so low is because they didn’t give me any information, they just gave her back to me. I don’t know

I believe this clinic allowed our dog to die. We called ahead and brought him in with alarming symptoms. We waited outside for 2 hours before becoming impatient and calling them for an update. The person on the phone seemed confused, and said they hadn't got to him yet because there were critical cases ahead of him. He was the critical case! The vet called back 5 minutes later and told us he had taken a turn for the worse, and we should come say goodbye. At this point he was comatose. They had more to say about urn options than any diagnosis or treatment options. I believe he lay alone in a room

They enjoy watching you and your pets in pain. They also enjoy not providing you with all the information you need at the time you need it, so when it comes to paying, they'll tell you it's something you signed (which you didn't) without it being mentioned or explained at all. They'll tell you they will go and get your pet for you from the back, then they'll stand behind the front counter and do nothing while one other person helps other guests.

The only thing they are attentive to is ensuring that your credit card works.
To top it off the dog developed KENNEL COUGH IN THEIR FACILITY, which they did not even inform us of until we noticed laboured breathing on the way home. They were of course very happy to charge for the medications to treat it.
