I grew up in a family that relied solely on modern medicine and drugs to treat all our health problems. Being a high level athlete playing hockey in Toronto and recruited to play football at the University Of Western Ontario I had multiple sports injuries.
I grew up in a family where natural and alternative medicine were always very present. An essential oil for this, an herb for that, an onion in your socks at night for good measure. However, one issue that never seemed to go away were my migraines, that I had learned to "live" with, since the age of 12.
Dr. Adam Brookes has recently returned from a wonderful Humanitarian Effort in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Devastated by earthquakes, hurricanes and political corruption, Haiti is currently one of the poorest countries in the world. Dr. Brookes works with an organization called Mission Life International.

In one such injury, I severely hurt my neck in a head-on collision playing football.

I had my first appointment in almost a year, and the staff were wonderful. Erica was very attentive in going over my health concerns from the last year, Dr. Lesley was very thorough while performing my adjustments, and Tasha was kind enough to help keep my baby calm while I was unable to hold him. Overall, it was a great experience!

I love Bruce Street Family Chiro. Was looking for a Chiropractor in my neighborhood and so glad I found this place on Google. I was a bit scared to see a Chiropractor at first from stories I've heard, but was experiencing excruciating pain from an out of place rib and needed help. Dr. Adam and team have been fantastic and I've been pain free for 7 months. I look forward to my visits and recommend everyone I know to check this place out! Great positive atmosphere too!
