Tara has always had an interest in human health and enhancement and graduated in 1994 from the University of Guelph, receiving her Bachelor of Science (honours), with a Specialized Honours in Human Biology, a minor in Child Studies and a second minor in Nutrition. In 1996, Tara was accepted into the naturopathic program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto.
