We now have three new works by Donna in the gallery, and each are as distinctive and impressive as these works. We are very pleased to have an original Will Allister work, Vazen, on consignment in the gallery. Will Allister passed away a few years ago but everyone who knew him praised him as a great artist and wonderful person.
After surviving horrific confinement and brutality during WW2 as a prisoner-of-war, he went on to marry and have a very successful career as a writer, filmmaker and artist. However, the recurring nightmarish memories that threatened at one point to overwhelm his life with bitterness eventually gave way to profound forgiveness and an embrace of all the world's peoples and cultures.

Services
Hong Zhu was born in Shanghai, China. She started her training in visual art at an early age when she was selected to study at an educational center for gifted children. Later, she became the youngest artist at prestigious Shanghai Arts & Crafts Research Institute where she perfected her skills for painting and traditional Liu-Ching bamboo carving.

We had a very important painting that was left for my oldest brother as a memory for him to cherish from our mom. This painting had so much sentimental value to it as my mom had looked at it and loved it for over 30 plus years. For her to know that it will now be with my brother and that he will enjoy seeing it every day, I know it makes my mom so very happy. None of that would have been able to have happened if it were not for the help and skill of Hong. We had called around to many places and some would not even consider packaging it for us. Others said they would but since they had no experience

I recently had three pieces of historical Canadian art bequeathed to me with hideous antiquated frames. Ms Zhu was a huge help in assisting me to choose suitable more contemporary frames. I appreciated her professionalism, her pleasant, easygoing manner, and the quality of the finished product, not to mention very competitive prices. Highly recommended.

Just bought two beautiful paintings by Min Ma, who is one of the gallery's artists. Hong actually contacted him to get one of them commissioned. Love both pictures! We have been dealing with the gallery for many years and have always been very happy with the high quality work they have done for us. All work is beautifully completed and Hong is very good at helping with framing ideas and selection. Great job!

I have framed many artworks here, including original works - absolutely amazing people, who as artists themselves, know the importance of framing art carefully, appropriate to the work.
