Services
Our dentists provide patient care Monday-Saturday, including evening appointments for patient convenience. Dr. Jerry Weiss, DMD, began his practice in 1979 together with his brother and has been providing care for his patients in the Transcona area since 1978. Jerry became the sole owner of the practice in 1998 after his brother retired from dentistry.

Regent Avenue Dental Centre started off as Cavalier Square Dental at 1600 Regent Avenue. Dr. Gary Smith and Dr. Stephen Weiss founded the dental clinic in 1977. The intention was for Dr. Jerry Weiss to join their dental practice after he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Medicine. Dr. Jerry Weiss graduated from the University of Manitoba in May of 1978.
We consider our patients to be a part of our dental family, and with this in mind, we strive to meet each individual's needs. We are your partners in oral health and for each of our new patient visit, we want the experience to be relaxed, pleasurable, convenient, and comfortable. The first visit is an opportunity for us to hear your concerns and to explain your options for dental care.

Even though it was 8am, all the staff were ready to take me in for my appointment, big smiles all around. When the hygienist found a concern she relayed her concern to me, allowing me to understand, and then give her the approval to talk with the dentist. I have been going to this clinic since birth, the medical staff is always sincere. 😁❤

Everyone that I've met so far at Regent Dental has been amazing. We're a big family and they really try to accommodate us all. Diane is amazing! She's super fast, friendly and really goes the extra mile to help you. Dr. Morris is awesome! Very gentle and attentive. Jackie, bless her heart, she's so calm at the front desk! They always seem to be on time, never have to wait long. Highly recommend this place!

A lot of my friends do not like going to the dentist, personally I love it. Why? My 3 ( now adult children) and I have been seeing Dr. Jerry Weiss from day 1. He's flipping awesome!!! Sorry, trying to contain my adoration. He's professional, gentle, kind, honest and the BEST at what he does. And if he happens to not be able to see me that day...… one of the other Doctors step up do an equally fantastic job. What about the staff? First time here last week. Awful front staff, and the woman who confirms appointments and checks the messages...WOW. Should NOT be customer facing. Should be kept in the back out of sight and out of mind. Such rude, awkward, unprofessional service. Was really looking for a new dentist that understood my needs but sadly, it was not here. I saw Dr.… Morris and felt rushed and like my needs weren’t discussed. I was feeling some pain and the dentist suggest either an extraction or root canal and said “let’s try this first”, and “this might solve the problem&rdquo
