Look up this doctor on Google, you will find he has had multiple vet clinics in different names to get away from all the bad reviews. He works with puppy mills all over ontario, falsifying vet papers. If you care for your pet do not take them to Dr. Chahal. The good reviews on here are probably people that know him. There is a whole Facebook page dedicated to people's stories that have had terrible experiences with this vet. He also goes under the vet name of Lacoste Animal hospital.

What kind of place this is! Such a non-sense. I was only one when I was there and made me wait more than 20 mins. The man looks like Vet was not at the washroom, not at the table for late lunch, just sitting rather lie down on his chair, looking at his cellphone. I do not think he cares your pet and or you.
I'd rather rate him '0' star rather than 1 star. I do not recommend this place AT ALL.

I am so grateful to have been able to find this place for my cat it was a blessing the staff work great and friendly, I love it there they are taking very good care of my cat I just left my cat there with confidence that my cat is gonna be fine. Everyone was very professional and super helpful. thank you so much.

We are new to the clinic and so far its been a positive experience working with Dr. Kanwar Chahal and his team. We were recommended by our breeder to this clinic. Reily in the office has been very helpful and pleasure to work with.

Critical: Quality, Reliability
Incompetent. If you care about your pet and looking for a diagnosis then you should go somewhere else. Very expesinsive and not reliable. I had a bad experience, paid hefty price for blood work and xray and didn't get a diagnosis., went home not knowing what's wrong with my pet. Outrageous

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Reliability
We love this vet they are by far the best we’ve been to. We have a tiny 4lb 10 year old chihuahua that needed surgery on her teeth and they handled it with no problem; she is so happy now. Riley and Cassandra are so amazing, sweet and trustworthy. Highly recommend❤️

Staff here are helpful and kind, and prices are very fair.
They were able to quickly diagnose my pups issue and have him in for surgery with a specialist within 1 week at a great price. Seen another vet for over a year without any diagnosis

Dixie/Lacoste Animal Hospital has been my dogs clinic for the past 5-6 years now. DR. Kanwar and his team have been nothing short of amazing in all aspects of animals care in regards to my dog. They never cut corners or string you on. They keep me well informed on everything they are doing. I highly recommend them for your pet, they will provide the best care possible!

Would not recommend - after Dr. Hessing retired they did not provide the more approachable care for our dog. They made a huge mistake on our urine test for our dog and therefore too late to diagnose her. Poor response times, cannot explain clearly what is going on with our dog.

Today I forgot to bring my dog's vet food from home in Oakville. So I was forced to go to the closest vet to get him some food so he didn't starve. I think it is unfair I had to buy a whole case of food and not… just one can. I would have paid $5 for a can but instead I had to pay $50 for a case. There is no fair customer service or doing a favour for a hungry dog by letting a hungry dog buy one can. I will never forget his food again or ever go to this vet again! Ever.
