Our Doctors use modern technology such as optomap, retinal photography, and visual field testing in order to diagnose, treat and monitor ocular health conditions and provide personalized vision solutions that meet the visual needs of our patients.
Whether it's ruling out a potential visual cause for a learning issue in a child, or monitoring Ocular pathology such as Macular Degeneration or Glaucoma, eye examinations are important at any age. First eye examination is recommended at 6 months of age. Kids under 19 yrs should be seen yearly, adults every two years and seniors every year.
Vernon Optometry is proud to feature advanced free-form digital lens technology. Our lenses are created with a digital free-form lens generator that is truly state of the art. It utilizes an industrial RS-tec motor to drive a diamond Twin Tool to generate almost any prescription in nearly any lens material point by point on the lens.

This was my first visit with Dr. Amanda Farley. Not only does she have a 10/10 manner with clients but she is very knowledgeable. You can clearly tell she is passionate about her craft. I have seen several practitioners over the years but Dr. Farley gave me the most detailed, interesting and most comprehensive explanation and treatment for my eye challenges. I left feeling completely understood and with peace of mind. I strongly recommend this doctor.

We recently switched our family’s optical needs over to Vernon Optometry and it was the best decision. We have been blown away by the service, from the greeting at the front desk (which should be a given in any place of business, but often is not) to the assistants, to the optometrists. Just really superior service on top of a phenomenal selection of frames. And the icing on the cake is the atmosphere itself: bright, elegant, chic, modern and comfortable. Can’t recommend this place highly enough and I would happily give 10 stars if I could.

Visiting an eye doctor is similar to visiting a dentist. It’s a bit scary. Dr Tanner Udenberg is welcoming, concerned, and patient. I took my Mom and I also needed an eye exam, so I decided to try Vernon Optometry. Hands down, best service I've ever had! A full complete exam, very knowledgeable, educational, professional and fom the wonderful desk staff to the optometrist, then the glasses fitters, top notch service. A well oiled machine, very glad we are now clients! Highly recommend.

Amazing service. The appointment was excellent. My optometrist was awesome. I never expected to actually enjoy going to see an optometrist. It's clear these folks are highly trained and super professional. They weren't just checking my eye sight they were also checking the health of my eyes. The downfall is that it's a bit more expensive than walking into Costco or the Superstore but I have to say I had a Costco appointment two years ago and although the results were the same the appointment wasn't as through and complete as this one. It's around 50 dollars more than other locations but the machinery

I want to give a shout out to Debbie. She was kind, courteous, understanding, honest, professional. The two pairs of lens I ordered through her are outstanding in optical quality. I'm new in the valley, from a big city, and been through more failures than successes with progressives. Debbie knows her stuff. Her recommendations were spot on. Of… course good lenses start with an accurate prescription, which I've also experienced sub par quality before that cost me a fortune. I wasn't able to see Dr. Udenberg, my regular optometrist, but I needed an appointment for a fairly urgent problem, so I accepted one with Dr. Ashton. I was disappointed not to be able to see Dr. Udenberg, as I've been so impressed with him and his great attention to detail in the past. But I have to say that I was absolutely equally impressed with Dr. Ashton. She took so much time and trouble to explain everything, to reassure me, to offer ideas for prevention, and she did not make me feel rushed in any way.
