Services
We are now offering morning group fitness classes and private lessons led by our own head instructor. Spaces are limited so don't hesitate to contact us now for more information! The first two or three days you may experience sore muscles and feel awkward when learning new movements. This is absolutely normal.

I had been training in SC Kim’s TKD since its opening in 1994 and I highly recommend this place to all. The grand master Kim is the chairman of the World Taekwondo Olympic referee committee and has conducted all the international matches including Pam Am, European Cup, World Cup, World Championship, and Olympic. Other in-service master instructors are also highly professionals and provide high quality of TKD training for students to build up their skills, discipline, and respectful manners to one another. I was looking for a quality Taekwondo gym after DT Lim moved out of Vancouver to Surrey for a bigger space. DT Lim was a great place that my daughter trained at for years and represented in tournaments. I was looking for a gym with similar values because driving to Surrey from Vancouver was too far.

I have been training at this school for about 5 years now. Through out the years that i have trained at this school I have not only gotten into better shape and learned skills pertaining to taekwondo but I have also been taught various things about respect and self-control that I may not have learned if I had not started taekwondo. The school also has passionate instructors that know how to teach. Overall my experience at SC Kim' Taekwondo has been extremely positive, and whether it be to get in shape, learn to defend yourself, I would definitely recommend this school

My son and I joined over 12 years ago when my son was just 13 years old. I was so impressed that I paid for my two nephews to go as well. Master Kim set the standard and along with his other instructors provided a great mix of discipline, good instruction, and yet somehow made it engaging and fun without lowering the standard. I watched my son and nephews gain confidence, strength, self-control and a discipline that helped to make them strong and self-reliant.
My son and I went to black belt together. I've stayed with the school and just last December achieved my 3rd Dan black belt.
