I am a Registered Psychologist with a private counselling practice in St. Albert, Alberta. For over 25 years, I have had the privilege of helping many individuals, couples and families with a variety of concerns and difficulties. I strive to maintain a quiet and safe, comfortable and confidential office setting.

Most of us desire to live a life feeling confident, courageous and competent as we meet new challenges or handle the inevitable stressors that life seems to be made of. We yearn to feel fulfilled and purposeful, exhilarated and passionate as we move through our experience of living. We seek the enjoyment, encouragement, comfort, safety and stability of loving relationships.
Services
Appointments are normally one hour in length and can be weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or as needed. Fees for counselling appointments follow the recommended fee schedule set out each year by the Psychologists Association of Alberta. Payment of fees can be made in cash or by cheque, e-transfer, Visa or MasterCard.
Occurs when we experience a potentially life threatening situation that overwhelms our capacity to respond effectively. Refers to the psychological issues resulting from inadequate nurturing and guidance through the critical developmental periods of childhood.

When confronted with a life threatening situation, we may have been so overwhelmed we froze and could not act or our rational brains may have overridden our instinctive impulses to fight or flee.We may not have had the resources, enough time, or the ability to respond effectively. We may have been physically compromised through medication or a poison.
