I'm going to tell you about my experience here and everyone can make your own conclusions.
Last year I saw CG Motorsports selling a car on Craigslist. A Google search and Yelp search about them showed numerous positive reviews on both platforms. It looked like they had a good reputation.

These guys are the real deal. Friendly, skillful and produce quality repairs. They are really emulating that meticulous care that the Germans have precedented. I have entrusted them with my very complicated BMW 750il and BMW 550i. On all occasions, the work was very high quality and the diagnosis very accurate. I trust these guys without hesitation.

Not just premiums service for BMWs, but off-makes as well. Took my jeep in and they brought it back to life with it having not been driven for 3 years. Excellent customer service, detailed reports were explained in detail with sound recommendations. They had my best interest and safety in mind, while being very fair on pricing. I highly recommend seeing them if customer service, integrity and peace of mind is what you expect from your mechanic!

I was looking for a good shop that could help with my daughter's first (used) car, and boy did I ever find the right place. This shop is professional, immaculate, and looks like a dream place to work for an auto mechanic. Even better, the personal attention they give is something I have never come across in this industry before: they are friendly and take the time explain the work that they did on the car. I was so impressed by the work that was done on my little Jetta. I was having problems for a while and my mechanic couldn't figure it out so I decided to take it to CG Motors, since they specialize in European cars. They called me whenever they had any information about my car and asked for my permission before going ahead with any service. They were very professional and worked very quickly. I would take my car back here every time an issue comes up and I recommend it to anyone & everyone.

My car is 07' BMW 335i sedan. It's time to make a brake fluid flush. I called Auto west BMW and they quoted me $153 plus tax, which seems too high for me to accept. Then I search online for alternate cheap BMW service provider. CG motorsports is the one I locked. I was quoted at $85 plus tax. It takes 40 mintues to get done,very nice. I was finally charged $104 including environment shops and tax, but still greatly cheaper than dealer. It won't go wrong to stuck on this guy.

Had a car checked out for a pre-purchase inspection, first time customer. They replied to my initial email inquiry quickly and were quite accommodating in scheduling me in. The pricing for the inspection was excellent and the inspection itself was very thorough. Chris took the time to walk me through the report and explain the details. Saved me from wasting $3-4k on a pile of junk. Will check them out again.

It took me 30 km one way from Vancouver to Richmond to service my car. But it is worth the trip & time and I will keep it that way. That's how good I think they are! That's also why I chose CG to serviced all my GTI, Corrado, 3 series & Boxster...
Most people think CG is a BMW specialist. As a matter of fact, they also serviced VW, Porsche, Audi & other German make. The owner Chris has owned lots of V-Dubs when he was young but he himself was a well trained/certified BMW mechanic... nuff said. Please check their website www.cgmotorsports.com

If I still had my 2002, it would go here. If I had my Bavaria 3.0 it would go here.
The service is nice. the storefront and the garage bay's are crispy clean! And you can tell as you walk into this place that it's all BMW Business!

They have a lovely 1 gen M3 in bright green colours that looked super racy spectacular. That version of the M3 is my favourite. All the other M series cars don't have the nostalgic feeling I get from this

Now that my trusty BMW has come off its free maintenance plan, there's no way I'm servicing my car at the dealer where I'm sure my favorite treats like biscotti, fruit and beverages are all being paid for by the overpriced services.
But I also love my car and wouldn't take it to just anyone, so after asking around and cruising the BMW forums, I decided to take my car to CG Motorsports in Richmond.
Very happy! Nice little shop and very clean - some of their technicians are BMW trained and it's nice to see many BMWs, Porsches, and other German cars in the back.

I have such high regard for this place that I'm adding a business and writing review even though I don't go there any more! Back in the day when I drove my beloved handmedown BMW, I was looking for a trustworthy mechanic and CG motorsport was recommended to me.
