Some waterproofing product are on the market and promises long warranty but it is only a question of time before negative pressure push its way thru the foundation walls (pressure coming from the outside ground). Other time we use inside trenching to capture the hydrostatic pressure under the floor and again redirected in the sump pit.
My name is, Eric D Belisle. I am the owner of Wet And Humid No More. I am originally from Montreal, Quebec, the big island! In Montreal, foundation and structural repairs are very common problems. Living among this issue is how I obtained my expertise in foundation and structural repairs with over 19 years of experience.
Every year many newcomers appear and try to attack the market equipped with a pick and shovel and a little bit of info. Sometimes even with some machinery. Many of them disappear the same year or so and leave a bad name / reputation to the trade without forgetting burn and disappointed owners with sometimes unsolved or bigger problems then what they bargain for.

Had Eric do a full waterproofing to our 1400 ft bungalow in Niagara, extremely professional, exceptional high quality work at a very fair price. Eric has returned a couple times now to ensure that as our backfill settles he's returning the house to grade before we can landscape.

Had Eric and team come out to water proof our foundation recently and it was a pleasant experience from start to finish. From the initial contact, to the respond time, to the site visit, to the scheduling, to the timely response to email questions, to starting the job, to finishing the job - it was all done well. The price was fair and I would highly recommend this company and did i mention our neighbour beside us got their foundation waterproofed by Eric and his team eight years ago too? ... well, they've never had a wet basement since :)

I used their services a few years ago based on a recommendation and they did a fantastic job.I havent had any more issues with the wall they repaired. Recently i had an emergency situation, on a different part of the home, they came in right away when I called... I mean right away!! Although it was a bigger job than the prevous, I was impressed once again. Great customer service. Eric explains everything he is doing, what problem he found and how he will address it. I currently have a tenant living in the basement so the work needed to be done extremely quickly. I called Eric after randomly searching for Waterproofing companies and he gave me a time for the next day to see the problem.
After speaking to him and the way he explained the whole process, I was really impressed with his knowledge and honesty. Moreover, his quote was the best of all too. And then it was just a matter of when and not if.
The work is now done and his team re-arranged everything the way it was.
