Rhino Carbon Fiber(R) supplies a line of concrete crack repair and structural strengthening products which Foundation Fix uses to repair cracked basement walls or bowed foundation walls.
Most basement walls leak due to outside cracks and other direct openings in the foundation walls, around basement windows, opening in mortar joints, cracked porous bricks and other outside openings that allow water to enter. This requires excavating around the perimeter of the house to access the problem area.
Although it is referred to as interior waterproofing by every water proofing company, technically it is not waterproofing at all, it is really water control. It is a technique used to divert basement water via a drainage tile installed under the floor around the perimeter and connected to a sump pit and pumped out and away from the house.

I needed carbon fibre straps and staples installed in my basement on the foundation walls and the guys did a great job! Very professional, stuck exactly to the agreed upon cost, and completed the job quickly. A few of the straps needed to go in tight awkward spots and they made it happen. I wish all contractors were like these guys.

5 Stars for Sebastian at Foundation Fix!! Not only did he quickly come to our home to check on a problem we were experiencing with water in a basement bedroom, but he spent an hour,free of charge chatting with us about potential problems and solutions. He also very kindly helped my husband move my daughter's bed out of the room, as the water was increasing in quantity. Then he followed up, once home, and invited me to phone him once the Restoration company had come to deal with the water. When he learned that the problem was a broken pipe in the wall, and NOT the Foundation, he wished me well and

We live in Calgary and when our Grimsby house tenants called to inform us that the basement was leaking/flooding we freaked out! While the insurance did not cover the foundation repair, they did put us in touch with a competing foundation repair company who provided a quote and schedule. The wait was too long, so we did some research and found Foundation Fix - and we are so glad that we did!!! After the combined frozen winter ground melting and the immense early spring rain we had we had water coming into our basement from four spots along the bottom of the walls. Foundation Fix was the second quote we had, similar in price, but very professional and took the time to explain everything to us in detail. They are family owned business, which is great to see, and the father and son were clearly quite experienced! They were very quick, gone in three days and the work they did looks great! I will definitely recommend them to anyone that I know in need of foundation repairs.
