So, a huge shout out to Mike! Friend and I came down for day from Edmonton to bike Banff to Johnston Canyon. I was having valve issues and tried to pump at the free air pump near the bathrooms. Well, the pump didn't work so I walked my flat tire and bike over to this place. Mike came over to help right away and had it fixed pronto. Offered to pay and he said "nah don't worry about it." Super appreciative of Mike.

Tried to get a tire tube replaced as I’m in banff and bike doesn’t work. Told global shortage of tubes and that they wouldn’t even put on a patch so that I could use it while here. Not very helpful for a service shop in a generally isolated area.

5 starts is not even enough for these guys. Awesome collection and fantastic staff. Andrew helped me with sunglasses and I could not be happier. I'm almost reaching for my credit card and he gave me extra discount which I was not even expecting. Overall excellent experience and totally recommended.

As someone fairly new to biking, renting a pair of e-bikes with my gf and making it to Lake Louise and back was a bucket list item completed.
Tom went above and beyond to tell us about the route and get our bikes customed up for us.
After a quick charge up in Lake Louise we had a beautiful ride back. Absolutely recommend this terrific local shop, even to the uninitiated cyclist.

I was in need of a Planks Pullover that only ships to certain stores in Canada, Banff Soul being one of them. I phoned them numerous times, getting their voicemail every time. I left several voicemails with my contact information and sent them an email. Not once did I get a response from them, very disappointing.

Came in here desperate to get some advice on fixing a painful boot (from another fitter). The owner was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable about boot fitting - and generous. He gave me a practical solution that had me on the slopes and back to enjoying it. Would definitely come back!

Andrew has so much knowledge about his product and is passionate about getting people set up on the hill with the right equipment. He is very trustworthy and gave me excellent advice. Andrew let me know about sales, and what ski was right for me even though it was the less expensive ski. He even lent me his ski orthotics so I could take them to a pedorthotist to make sure they are built to the perfect specifications for my boot. Will 11/10 shop here again for my ski needs.

Needed to get my wife’s and daughter’s bikes tuned up with some repairs. After being told it would be a 3 to 4 week wait at another shop, these guys made an appointment for us when we were coming into town and had us turned around in a day. Heck they even sold me a new tire for my own bike. These guys love bikes and are a wealth of information when it comes to trails in the area. I highly recommend these guys if you are needing to get your bike serviced while in the Bow Valley. We will be back. Thank you!

I cannot say thank you enough! We travelled to Banff from Red Deer as a family to tackle the legacy trail for the first time and we arrived to find the brakes of our 10 year olds bike sticking to the wheel… making it unridable. The gentleman in the shop fixed it right then and there and we were able to continue our bike riding adventure! Thank you Thank you Thank you

I went in to the bike shop for a small but tricky problem - I had lost the nut but not the bolt holding my flashing light to the seat post. While I was waiting for the mechanic to find a matching nut, I admired the gorgeous road bikes. They rent really good bikes here - maybe I can avoid packing my bike next trip. In a few minutes the mechanic showed me that he couldn’t find a nut but he had cleverly turned the bolt around to screw it in the opposite way. And no charge. Nice friendly people, super service, great merchandise.

Bad experience. Very unprofessional. I bought a new pair of skis and bindings January 2018. April 2018 binding rips off ski mid turn - dislocated shoulder. Soul did nothing. Owner said ”you can’t carve on those skis”. Months of follow up and no replies (avoided me). Thankfully Nordica came through with replacement skis. Run in the other direction from this shop! They don’t stand behind their products or install services.

Mike is highly experienced ,qualified ,certified and his reputation precedes him . He is always busy ,no advertising only word of mouth. What makes Mikes expertise special is his attention to detail . He actually can detect issues in your skiing from evidence in the wear of the bases.Mike also keeps his sharpening and waxing equipment in top shape . Especially his sander.I recommend him as do all the ski pros and top racers .
