Solid Hardwood Flooring is exactly what the name implies: it is a solid piece of wood from top to bottom. The thickness of the wood may vary, but the industry standard ranges from inch to 5/16 of an inch. All solid hardwood products require a finish. Solid hardwood flooring comes in unfinished and factory finished (or pre-finished) flooring.
An engineered wood floor is constructed of layers of both hardwood and plywood, has durable, high-performance qualities. The construction allows for installation in most grade levels of the home, including below ground with a protective moisture barrier installed. A hardwood veneer gives natural beauty and looks to the engineered floor just as a solid hardwood floor does.
WPC flooring stands for Wood Plastic Composite. It is 100% waterproof and extraordinarily durable and known for its beautiful, realistic aesthetic. Both are durable and stable, however, SPC is more durable and denser overall due to its limestone composition. Both work well in commercial interior spaces.
Laminate Flooring is a multi-layer synthetic flooring product fused together with a lamination process. Laminate flooring simulates wood with a photographic applique layer under a clear protective layer. The inner core layer is usually composed of melamine resin and fiberboard materials. Laminate flooring is easy to install and is especially suitable for installation over concrete subfloors.

We had the first and second floor of our home renovated and M Squared Flooring installed the flooring, baseboards and glass railing for our staircase. We could not be happier with the results. The dynamic husband and wife team who own and operate this stunning design centre have been absolutely lovely (and effortless) to work with.
