Bugstop Automotive was opened in 1984 as a Volkswagen Specialist and Speed & Customs Shop. Bugstop started with a small Parts and Accessory Store and as we began to take flight, we hosted the first-ever "Canadian VW Nationals". This was an all-Volkswagen car show which drew an impressive 84 cars to the one-day event.
From an oil change and inspection to diagnosing the most complex electrical and computer problems, we have the know-how and technology to provide superior performance and reliable solutions. 1st. I was pleasantly surprised by the prices. Also the guy who owns it (i assume) was great. Answered questions, was respectful and friendly. Earlier went to dealership for 1 problem ended up with several. Came here on advice from a friend, they fixed all problems and told us 1of the things on the list didn't need to be changed saved us a 100.00!

I have a 2016 golf and the "check coolant" light has been coming on. I had no desire to go to a dealership (not a good experience at leavens and that was only for a test drive) so i called bug stop this morning. They fit me in, checked it out, topped up the coolant, and Bryan and Brendan absolutely made my day:) as a woman taking a car in to get looked at can be a little worrisome but i felt completely comfortable!! You guys are great! My work schedule is hectic and stressful enough ( long term care) so no added stress dealing with my car was amazing!!!! I will be back for sure. Driving a vw is

Taken my car here a few times for different things. Great, honest and reliable mechanic. They only fix what needs to be fixed, and never try to upsell (like other places). I will definitely be taking my car here from now on anytime I have an issue. Bit of a wait time, because they're usually pretty busy, but thats the price you pay for a great mechanic, who never disappoints.

Honest, reliable, and friendly service! My family and I have been coming here for a few years, just brought in my Kia today and they had no problem checking it out! (Only took 10-15 minutes to find the problem and got it done in under an hour!) Bryan, Brendan and the team really know what they’re doing and I would highly recommend them for any auto repairs (Volkswagen or any make for that matter!)

If you want the best mechanic in town, you need Brian from Bug Stop! He will work with you and will not over charge or charge and not change the parts like others may do. He will always find the best solution as well as it will be budget friendly too. I will always recommend him and his shop. He is the best and he is a kind and patient person as well.
