Pickups are simple. We send a truck team of two that does all the loading and lifting for you, which means you can just point to what you want gone.

Great experience with 505-Junk today! The two movers were kind and very fast! I’m moving internationally so anything I couldn’t give away had to go - so much stuff. They were in and out within about 45 minutes, and even had to deal with some movers who needed space too. Our block has street parking only, but they handled it professionally. They… accommodated my request on which room to do first, so I could let my cat out and not leave him stressed in a carrier. I was also pleasantly surprised by the price, it was cheaper than I expected with with amount of stuff we had. Thanks

I had used a different junk removal service at the beginning of clearing out all the stuff that was no longer needed. First time they were great the second time it was a bunch of lazy guys . I made it clear that I would not use them again. I had been looking at the removal places that charge by weight and decided to try them. I chose 505 Junk. They were great. They arrived on time , they were polite and friendly (nothing worse than hiring someone you will be paying and they are surly and rude and don't want to complete the task) I think it was always a different team and they were all

This was our first experience with 505-Junk (the Richmond, BC store) and they were fantastic! It was very easy to book a time and they were great communicators. The cost to remove 4 pieces of furniture from a house was fair and consistent with the estimate that was given during the initial call. The two-man team was friendly and efficient. Would definitely use them again and recommend without hesitation! My one suggestion for the business would be for the crew to consider bringing shoe protectors so mud/dirt isn't dragged into the house from the outside.

First time requiring a junk removal service so it was a who do I pick from the dozens out there. The 505-Junk team made this EASY. Scott was on top of things from start to finish. Jacob and Jesse the crew were friendly, professional and removed close to 600 lbs of items in only a few minutes. Invoice received was more than fine for the service done. So if you're like me with limited time, no patience and a limited budget just call 505-Junk.

Absolutely would recommend 505 Junk! The team was cheerful, helpful, friendly and super efficient especially Alex, Spencer, John and Jesse. Alex was more than happy to meet on site in order to give us (multiple) quotes. Glad he did cuz it ended up being a bigger job (all day, 5-6 truck loads). It didn't matter how clean or dirty, how many stairs or how much crap/treasure there was they got the job done.
By the way it didn't matter how many truck loads it took to remove the junk CUZ 505 Junk calculate the rates by weight (and not by space). Plus they recycle majority of the junk.

We're in the middle of renovating our place and had three bulky items that we would have had to rent a van if we wanted to look after the disposal. The movers arrived on time and were both friendly and very polite. Given that removal is charged by the pound, it wasn't that much more of an additional cost to us to hire someone to do the heavy lifting, especially as it saved us a lot of time (and our backs). From the time I made the first phone call until the items were hauled away, it was a very positive experience.

This company and staff is top notch I can't stress this enough. As we get older as do our parents and I got tasked in having to deal with my parents estate for downsizing. For those that have been through it you understand that it is a very overwhelming experience trying to navigate this process. The staff is extremely personable and extremely honest especially dealing with sensitive personal belongings if you've never been tasked with a situation like this, do yourself a favour call them save yourself from the emotional rollercoaster of dealing with memories from the past and going down

So far I have used 505-Junk twice and both times my expectations were exceeded. From the front reception staff member who demonstrated excellent customer service skills while providing me with a quite to the guys who came to do the hauling itself. Scott Foran from 505-Junk called me to apologize for the unexpected charges for the box springs. He has sent me a refund for those charges.
He also explained why their costs exceed $20 per mattress/boxspring. He apologized for the way the settlement process forces you to decline to give a tip and said that they are working on a way to improve that process.
He assured me their employees do not depend on tips for their income and that any tips that are provided are pooled and shared amongst all the frontline workers.

I live in a rental apartment, and needed to get rid of our old couch which was left outside my building overnight.
One call to 505-junk, and the couch was removed within an hour of my call, and charged to my credit card. So easy!
I had called other companies for quotes as well, ones that took cash or cheque only, or had only limited time frames available. Some never called me back. I am absolutely tickled that I did not have to leave work early, pull out cash, and rush home... everything was painless.

Great customer service! I called yesterday and Scott had an appointment for this afternoon. He clearly explained the estimated cost (actual total came in lower) and fees associated with mattress removal.
This morning, he called to ask if it was okay to come earlier than scheduled (perfect!) and the truck showed up on time. The two staff were courteous and professional and worked quickly. I couldn't ask for anything more, I would definitely call them again in future.

I'm rarely impressed, but 505 Junk is pretty awesome. I purchased a groupon for 200 pounds of removal and this has been one of my better experiences. They are pretty organized and sent an email confirming the items to be removed. I replied to the email with an additional large item and received a reply confirming it could be added to the list.
They arrived early and picked up all the times. I paid the difference after the overweight and it was totally worth it. I would definitely recommend these guys!
