Windmill Point Park
Windmill Point Park's 45 acre location began its history in the early 1900's. Used by the local mining industry, the quarry's limestone helped to build roadways, historical buildings and land marks in the Fort Erie area. Once the mining industry moved on, the quarry made by mining limestone was left to fill with natural spring water and aquatic life.

The result: Windmill Point Park. Since 1983, the Giammattolo family has successfully operated Windmill Point Park as a Family Owned and Operated Campground and Picnic Park. To improve the natural landscape and to help foster natural life, we have planted over 200 trees of a variety of species. We take the utmost care in mainlining the natural landscape and life by keeping the waters and lands clean and clear of debris and refuse.

One of our favorite rv parks. Nice and clean, friendly staff. Fantastic quarry lake. Sites are a good size. Clean washrooms. We have not been able to take part in any activities yet but plan to. Per friendly, but we haven't been bothered bu unruly dogs at all. Nice area to explore. Right next to the Niagara rail trail. Great for biking. Only down side is no sewer hookup.

I'm sorry but I'm a little offended because I was told I had to wear a mask while I checked into the park...."first time I was told that all season" but then as I sat at my friends site I watched some kind of tournament going on with at least 50 people standing together and not a mask was worn...not even by the owner who in fact was the one who told me I had to wear a mask...not really happy about it at all...practice what you preach.

Leaving site #304 tomorrow morning and had to leave a review! I had an emergency with my puppy yesterday so I had to leave, I ended up staying home, she was at the veterinarian’s for 12 hours. Anyways I received a phone call today from the maintenance department telling me my awning ripped off my RV and was swaying around, He said he was going to secure it for me to make sure no more damage happens, They did a wonderful job and I am very thankful! Also this place is beautiful, amazing quarry to swim so clear! The girls at the booth are so friendly, lifeguards everyone! Thanks for a great holiday

One of my favorite places in Niagara! I've been coming here since I was a kid. Jumping off the cliffs never gets old! The place is always well kept and all of the other guests are nice, good people. And its doggy friendly! You pay a bit to get in, but worth it to keep the riff raff out.

Went to visit a friend who was camping there. Pulled in the park at 7:20 pm, was told we would have to pay $15/ person for the day pass. There is NOTHING to do there at that time, but the girl at the gate just kept saying it's the day pass rate. After arguing with her that we weren't going to be there overnight, and only for a couple of hours, we were made to pay $30 to go sit at my friends trailer for a bonfire for 3 hours. Won't ever go back, that is absolutely crazy and a money grab.

The place is good, I'm just especially disappointed to have been overcharged and quickly dismissed when I had first inquired about it. The grass had not been cut in a LONG time, the potty was near overflowing, and the wasps were unbelievable at the beach. Our site had a great view and other campers we came across were very friendly and kind. I feel we made many friends and would go back for the people who attend there but probably not for the campground itself anymore.

This is such a great place to go and spend the day!! It is limited to the number of guests so it doesn't feel overcrowded. The quarry is amazing to swim in. While we were there everyone was friendly and respectful!! Highly recommend!!
