Carpathia Children's Centre Inc. was established in September of 1976. We are a charitable, non-profit organization licensed through the Manitoba Child Day Care Office. We occupy 8 classrooms in John Dafoe School and one classroom, Room 124, at J.B. Mitchell School. We are licensed for 165 children, 72 preschool and 93 school age.
Children are divided into age appropriate groupings in individual classrooms. Our professional staff provides educational, meaningful activities that stimulate learning and socializing. We recognize the unique developmental needs of all children to provide an inclusive environment. Our families and staff represent the diverse cultural mosaic of our city.

Services
Room news will now be sent to you by your child's Early Years Educator on a monthly basis. We are requesting Parents with skills/talents/connections to volunteer their time to enrich our centre. Do you have access to free art supplies? Play an instrument? Have a hobby you could demonstrate? If this interests you, please contant our office by email to discuss details.
The Centre is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors, comprised of parents and interested community members. The purpose of the board is to establish goals for the centre, and are responsible for the overall operation and devolopment of policies related to it's operation. Experienced and professional staff strive to provide your child with an enriched, nurturing program.
