Services
Did you know that vision is still developping after birth? That is why the Canadian Association of Optometrists recommends that your child's first eye exam be at 6 months of age. We recommend yearly eye exams for your children to ensure that their vision not only develops properly but any deficits are not impeding their learning.
Our Baby and Infant Eye Exams are modified to be tailored to your child's age, visual needs and stage in development. The Canadian and American Association of Optometrists recommends that your child's first eye exam be at 6 months of age. It is critical that vision is checked early on, as any prescription, eye turn or disease can severely impede vision development.
Our Senior Eye Exams are tailored to how you use your vision. Whether you are working, or retired and spending your time golfing, we make sure you have the right correction to have comfortable vision. As we age, we are at a higher risk for ocular conditions. A dilated eye exam is important to ensure that your eyes are healthy, and allows us to detect any small changes early to prevent vision loss.
Want freedom from your glasses? Our comprehensive eye exams will allow us to see if you are a candidate for contact lenses or LASIK. For those of us with near sightedness, far sightnedness or astigmatism, wearing glasses is not always optimal. LASIK and contact lenses allow us to get freedom from glasses, while still enjoying excellent vision.
Each one of the above components allows us to develop a baseline for any ocular health conditions you have. Further testing such as visual field testing, may be needed to get a full understanding of the impact the condition has on your vision. I recently had to go for my regular eye exam and I was looking for an Optometrist near my home. Based on excellent Google reviews I booked an appointment at Dr Marina Ceaus' Optometry, and I have to admit that I found the clinic and Dr Ceaus herself, exactly, if not better, than what the reviews say.

Recently I had to take my 14-month-old daughter to see Dr. Ceaus and she was so patient, understanding and knowledgeable. She explained the whole process and my daughter felt truly comfortable getting her eyes checked- which is a lot to say for a busy toddler! Dr. Ceaus is a true professional – friendly, passionate and caring. I can’t thank her enough for making my daughter's first optometrist appointment so easy. We will definitely be back! We are very happy with the vision therapy provided by Dr. Ceaus and her staff. One of my children was booked for surgery for her strabismus but thanks to the vision therapy provide by Dr. Ceaus and staff she no longer required surgery. My son's convergence insufficiency was also corrected thanks to VT! Dr. Ceaus is a very caring doctor who is excellent with children. She never books you for more sessions than you need so is very honest and transparent that way. She also takes the time to explain each of my children's vision issues, as well as the VT process and we never feel rushed. We highly recommend

Dr Marina Ceaus has been caring for our family for a few years. She has been nothing but professional, reliable and kind with our family. Dr Marina Ceaus has made our 2 young boys feel comfortable and confident when having their exams. She has explained any concerns and kept us at ease. I took my son to see Dr Ceaus when he was 6 months old as not many optometrists see children that young. We really lucked out as she was excellent with such a young kid - patient, very pleasant and very informative. I ended up booking my own eye test with her in the following weeks and Dr Ceaus noticed a condition with my vision that no one else had before. She even followed up via email after I visited a specialist to see if I had questions. She is attentive in the way you want someone to be with something as precious as your vision.

Dr. Ceaus did my sons (8 months old) very first eye appointment today and explained what she was looking for in detail as well as her findings. She is professional, caring and clearly passionate about what she does. She also took the time to complete an extra exam for myself due to some recent health concerns. I would recommend Dr Ceaus for all ages.

I took my mom to see Dr Ceaus. I saw on her website that we have the same background and since my mom doesn’t speak the language I thought it’s worth a shot. I was blown away. She was extremely thorough and took the time examining her in our language. She was also super friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve seen a few optometrists in the past few years… and could never decide for one because no one blew me away. I’m happy to say that we’ve found an amazing optometrists for our family. We took our 9 year old son for vision therapy and the changes are like night and day. Before he started the therapy he did not want to read, and complained of double vision. He would also take off his glasses while he was reading but then could not read well without them either. He had trouble focusing on close up work. Rather than bifocals at this… age, our main optometrist recommended Dr. Ceaus for vision therapy. We went for several moths. Now he is not seeing double, does not take off his glasses and is devouring books so fast we go to the library once a week because it is not worth
