For custom specialty cake orders ( Fondant or Buttercream), we ask that you please place your orders at least two weeks in advance.
We book up quickly and cannot take on additional orders once we have reached our capacity. Thank you for understanding. Due to the fine details and time consuming work of cake and pastry artistry, please ensure any changes are made 5 days prior to the order delivery date. Custom orders, unfortunately, cannot be resold if cancelled within 5 days of order delivery date, full payment is required.

Services
Wedding cake tastings will take place by appointment only. During the Cake Tasting Consultation, we will discuss the details of your wedding cake and work together to create a creative custom cake for your special day. You may choose four different cake flavours to try during your cake tasting. A $20 tasting fee is required.

Highly Highly recommend !!! I had a vision and the consultation was so professional and Milo's exceeded our vision and more !!! Extremely high detail with the cake design and absolutely delicioussssss cake !!! Like WOW !
We went for marble cake with vanilla custard filling which was like biting into a cloud !! Religiously only ordering from Milo's pastry for all future events !

Found this little gem of a pastry shop on Google and probably one of the best cakes I’ve tasted in Ottawa. Not too sweet and great texture, moisture and freshness. Lovely owner too who happens to be a very warm Lebanese woman. Thanks very much! Really loved the chocolate gateau! ❤️

We ordered a two-tier custom cake for my daughter’s birthday - pineapple and marble. It was delicious. All our guests enjoyed it. The design was as per the discussion and perfect. We also ordered red velvet cupcakes and macaroons. I personally loved both. The price was reasonable. Would definitely recommend them.

I am so glad I found this pastry shop! I am vegan, and it has been difficult finding a place that makes a good vegan cake. I randomly stumbled across this place when trying to find a birthday cake, and after trying it, I could not tell it was vegan at all! The frosting is so light and fluffy, very amazing. Will continue to get birthday cakes here from now on!

Disclaimer: Pandemic / lockdown review. Not sure if this is why our experience wasn't spectacular.
We picked out a variety of cakes. Tiramisu, hazelnut, etc. They all looked great but tasted old. The cakes were all dry. Felt like we were eating inventory that was out for a few days. Again, this may be because business may be slow during the pandemic. In the end, we were disappointed.

I 've ordered cakes at Milos on numerous occasions and have never been
disappointed .Miriam ( creative cake director) is a joy to work with !
She helped me decide on what combination would be possible and best.
Corresponding with her via email and telephone was seamless.
The last cake that I ordered was an almond cake with lemon curd and chocolate custard filling with choc fudge icing !
To date,everything that was on my cake " wishlist" was possible and wonderfully executed.
They also have a plethora of pastries etc but I have yet to try them but suspect that they are equally

Highly recommend! I had initially opted to place this order at a bakery on Richmond and decided to switch last minute for various reasons. I am incredibly happy I decided to go with Milo’s pastry!
This cake cost me 100+ dollars less than it would have at the other bakery. The other bakery wanted to put a plastic graduation hat and other things that weren’t what I *truly* wanted. I was settling for a design that I didn’t love, but was okay for 75$. I called up Milos, they answered quickly and explained how to place an order. I sent a detailed email with what I wanted. I got a quick reply

I ordered a birthday cake for my partner asking for a sushi themed cake. I was blown away! So was my boyfriend. Cake looked absolutely amazing, they put so much attention into the details! Everyone who I showed the cake to was asking where to get it from! Definitely recommend going. It's a small family business and soon you walk in they make you feel like you're a part of this amazing family! Very kind people. Bernadette would go an extra mile or even 10 to make sure her consumers are satisfied. For sure I will be back for more.

So after driving by this place countless times, I finally decided to check it out. I only got the baklava, which I thought was just ok.
Baklava is $23/kg. They had pastries too which looked good. Pastries are $2.75 each. They also make cakes.
They had 5 different types of baklava which were mostly similar, with the differences being shape and some had crushed pistachios while others had whole pistachios, and some had cashews. The phyllo was crispy and the baklava was overall really sweet. I can't say that for me it really stood out from other baklava that I've had. I got 2 pieces
