Ararat Oriental Rug Co is proud to staff a professional group of repair masters of the persian and oriental rugs here in Vancouver. Our Master weavers are expert inthe field. They have over 100 combined years of experience on repairs and restorations. Your full satisfaction is guaranteed. We want your rug to look as good as new, all year round.
Always vacuum your rug with the nap (the lay of the nap can be checked by running your hand across the length of the rug). Vacuuming against the nap will press dirt back into the pile. Avoid using the vacuum on the fringe of the rug or kilim as the fringe may break or tear. Sweeping your rug with a broom on a weekly basis is highly recommended.

I dealt with Jay to purchase my new rugs for my new house. He is super knowledgeable and professional when it comes to his job and advise.
My wife and I searched almost every rug store in town, and when we learned about Ararat Oriental Rug through a friend of ours, we visited their store several times. He even let us to try some of his rugs at our home as we were not sure what would matches our new furniture's and home design. We are super happy and pleased with his services and our purchase. We ended up buying two rugs at the lowest prices possible in town. I highly recommend Jay and his team

I have a beautiful, large, wool Persian carpet that I wanted to have professionally cleaned and a friend highly recommended that I call Ararat Oriental Rug Co. I hired Ararat to clean and do an appraisal of my carpet and I am so happy with the service and results. Jay and his team did an impeccable job of cleaning the carpet, even getting out two wax spills that I was worried wouldn't come out. They also repaired a few moth damaged spots from when the carpet had been in storage. The carpet looks brand new now and I am extremely pleased and would recommend this company for anyone that has an expensive
