Foster Auto Group is a family run business celebrating our 38th year in the industry this fall. We are a 30-year member of the Used Car Dealer Association and a registered dealer with the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council. Based in Waterdown, Foster Auto Group has continued to expand as it now serves all of the greater Hamilton and Burlington area with one of the largest selections of used Volkswagen in Southern Ontario.
Although we've been in business 38 years, our story started long before that, almost 70 years ago. It was the late 1940s. Robert Phoenix, after serving overseas for four years, returned home to Burlington and started selling cars. Mostly working for Hamilton Motor Products, he specialized in the used car department.
To work positively as a team to achieve our vision by treating every customer with respect and care. We will listen to their needs and strive to provide them with the best product we can find. We will be transparent and provide the customer with all the information we have. We will make every effort to make sure all of our vehicles are safe, reliable and affordable.

I've had the most pleasant experience dealing with entire Foster Auto family, especially Mike as I was in contact with him the most. They took care of everything, all I had to do was sign on the dotted line. I sold my vehicle here and Mike was extremely honest, fair (pricing wise) and understanding in the entire process. If I was in the market to purchase a vehicle, I'd definitely be coming back to Foster because of the emphasis they put on customer service and care.

I recently purchased a 2018 Subaru Forester from Foster Auto Group and I couldn't be happier! I recently purchased a 2015 Civic from Mike and the entire experience was wonderful. He was very personable while shopping without being pushy at all. He was incredibly accommodating by offering us to take the car for a ride without hesitation, even though his hours had ended for the day. Even after the deposit had been placed on the car he was available for any questions I might have had before it was ready for pickup. His service speaks for itself and I cannot recommend him or his business more highly.

Honest, professional, with great selection of cars. We appreciated the effort put in for the customer.
Mike was a huge help when we had to purchase a new vehicle after an accident; it was a bit of a time crunch and the budget was limited, but we felt in no way pressured or taken advantage of. His vehicles are in excellent condition and very reasonably priced. He did a great job tuning up the car for certification and it drives great.

I originally called Foster because I was interested in a very specific model and trim. Mike was very helpful throughout the whole process. He answered all my questions (even about the little things) on the phone and in person. He was very frank and honest with me and, when I visited in person, gave me plenty of time with the car. The most important thing is that there was no pressure to close.

Mike made made buying a used car a breeze, he gave honest feedback and was more than fair throughout the entire process.

I bought a Miata from Foster Auto, 4-days later there was an issue with the engine light. Mike & Ann told me to skip the back-yard mechanics and go straight to the dealer for a proper fix. They covered the full cost of the repair at the Mazda dealership. Hats off to Mike & Ann for taking care of their customers and backing the cars they sell.

I've just recently bought a VW Golf from Foster Auto Group and it was the best car shopping experience I've ever had.
