Thank you for your interest in our hospital! We would like to introduce ourselves and share a little bit about our history, our philosophy and our staff. Animals, large or small, gravitate to Dr. Smith; they intuitively sense that he likes and cares about them. Dogs often run into the exam room to see him and grumpy cats will be purring by the end of an appointment. Bob was raised in a rural community on the Bruce Peninsula and after high school attended the University of Western Ontario where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Pharmacology.

We are equipped to handle a wide variety of medical conditions, including emergencies. Because we can perform many diagnostic procedures in-house, we can often give you immediate answers and start treating your pet faster. In some cases, your pet may require hospitalization and further diagnostic tests.
To ensure a proper diagnosis, we need to examine your pet because a thorough physical exam is the foundation of a medical diagnosis. We begin a medical assessment by looking at your pet's eyes, ears, and skin and checking his or her cardiovascular, neurological, gastrointestinal, and skeletal systems for any abnormalities.

The staff here are so friendly and welcoming to my little pup. Making me feel like he’s a little rockstar! They are quick to get back to me on on any questions and concerns I have had. I love the app tool for health reminders and appoint booking requests.

Amazing, professional staff. They always take care of my fur babies with love and care. Would highly recommend south peel to anyone that is vaccinated or not to drop off their pets. No discrimination ever at this Clinic, the quality of service is 5 star plus. Keep up the great work we appreciate all you do for our fur babies. Wonderful vet clinic and amazing vets! Very compassionate staff and outstanding care. I also appreciate their extra efforts in terms of preventing the spread of Covid-19. My jobs requires me to work with a vulnerable population so knowing that they are taking extra precaution and providing service outside unless fully vaccinated, makes me feel so much better about coming here! Highly recommend!!

This has to be one of the best vet clinics I have been to. The staff and doctors are amazing and are so gentle and caring towards my 2 older cats. They always answer all my questions and are very helpful when an issue arises. When we had a previous sick cat the doctors did everything possible to extend her life and make her as comfortable as possible. Concern for their 4 legged patients happens the moment you step in the door to the waiting room.

I have been taking my fur babies (3 dogs and 2 cats) here for years. They are wonderful and kind and I trust their knowledge. The recent reviews are ridiculous. Everyone can access curbside service just like all other vet clinics in the GTA. Plus they have always allowed you in if you have to make the painful choice to euthanize a pet. I don’t know other clinics that do. Sadly one of our dogs passed away at an after hours clinic during covid and we weren’t able to be at the appt with her. It was devastating. I’ve recently noticed a lot of reviews on this page regarding the service at this vet clinic. I therefore would like to share my experience. I have been taking my dog/cat/rats to this clinic for over three years now. The staff and the level of care received at the clinic is amazing. The doctors and staff ALWAYS put your pet first and are more than willing to come up with a treatment plan that you feel comfortable with.
