The practitioners in our Massage and Bodywork Department have all received the highest level of education in their speciality. For example, British Columbia Registered Massage Therapists have completed a minimum of 2200 hours of training, the most comprehensive in North America. In addition, practitioners who join our Health and Wellness Centers are required to successfully complete in-house training, a process that can take several weeks.
The treatments in this section address specific complaints, such as headaches, arthritis, lower back pain, sciatica, and neck and shoulder pain, and are designed by our Registered Massage Therapists. The massage service itself was wonderful however Spa Utopia as a company has some major improvements to make with their front of house and administrative staff. Spa Utopia charged me for my service TWICE and I noticed the next day when reviewing my banking transactions. I phoned the Spa location to discuss the matter and was left feeling like a liar and that I had to defend myself to these people. I had a wonderful experience at Spa Utopia at the Pan Pacific. I went there for my annual pedicure and was assisted by Ruby, who was amazing! The overall service experience here was great! You are also able to use the sauna and steam room, they provide sandals, towels and bathrobes, so you don’t need to bring much with you.

Good except my massage therapist asked what part of my body I wanted her to focus on so I said my feet... I had sore feet that were clean, toenails painted nicely, perfect condition and she spent less than 10 seconds on each foot. Why ask if you're not going to do?

Beautiful place a bit out dated. For the high premium they charge definitely not worth it unless you want to waste your money. They called me a day before my appointment, which I had booked 3 weeks before in order to get a couple massage with one female and one male masseuse. Quite disappointed that they called me just to say that male therapist decided to go on a trip to Mexico and we’ll have to either reschedule you or you’ll have to go with a female therapist. I booked a Tranquility Wrap and I had personable, professional service by Carmen. Front of house staff were friendly & helpful. Spa attendant was very sweet. The facilities are immaculate and calm. Use of steam room & sauna must be reserved as only single use. I do miss being able to access the Pan Pacific pool. Top notch experience.

The experience at Spa Utopia is always fabulous. I appreciate that the staff are always welcoming and polite, especially during the pandemic. I have had the pleasure of being treated by Catherine W, who is an exceptional RMT that truly cares for her clients. Horrible!!! Very rude staff. I booked it for an hour massage with RMT. Didn't know they have no snack no coffee nothing to eat plus no hair dryers! They never mentioned at the time of booking. When I went in they said no snack, I was fine and it wasn't a big deal. So I got my massage which was another issue cause the person was so new and didn't know anything about foot massage and spend so much time on fixing the sheets and blankets...anyways, after my massage I used the shower and washed my hair, came out and looking for dryer that said no dryer due to covid! For the price of the services, the ambiance reflects that, but the customer service...not so much. A friend and I treated ourselves to New Years manicure and massages yesterday and the girls at the reception as well as the front desk in the service area act like you're a nuisance. They weren't unkind or anything, but they definitely waited until we initiated conversation or asked a question before directing us where to go. 5 stars for the massage. Roman was one of the best I've had. 2 stars for the venue. It was like the McDonald's of spas. SOO busy. This location is very outdated and the service is not so great.
MASSAGE: I had 50 minute massage Designed for you. The massage started 5 minutes late and also ended 5 min earlier. That makes it 40 min only, but they still charged me full price. Quite annoying when the price is pretty high.
FACILITY: steam room needs to be renovated. It's a bit moldy.
And seems like massage room's floor is being washed with a rotten rag, because it smells like it when you walk into the room.

The massage was very relaxing and I love the soothing music that's played in all the rooms (massage room, waiting/lounge area and steam room). There's also tea, coffee and complimentary wine after your massage and some dried fruits and nuts at the lounge area. You're given access to the steam room and sauna. Pool access is an additional $10.
The steam room was great. There's music and peppermint infused oil. So relaxing. It's quite small and could get crowded very easily. I was in there with another lady and it was great until a group of three loud girls came in.

Facilities are beautiful but the services are hardly services. I got a manicure/pedicure which was a great experience but the services done to my nails were horrific. My fingernails were not even painted properly, shellac bubbles all over my nails and not painted to the end. This was the SECOND application they did because I complained the first time that it had lifted off in 1 day. Further, they offered to redo my service as it was done terribly. All the people working here are great! The spa was kept clean and welcoming. I had the Royal massage 100min treatment. It was very relaxing. You are encouraged to use the dry steam room or relax and have a tea and snacks while waiting for you treatment and the a glass of wine afterward. The only downside I see here was the fee to use the pool and hot tub as they are not a part of spa utopia but belong to the hotel. Also the site mentioned that the opening hours are 10am when at 930 you are able to relax and enjoy before your treatment. All in all a good experience but could have been better.

I prefer the North Vancouver location more than this one. The change rooms are cramped and there weren't many (if any?) windows since it's on the cruise ship level. The service was the same though. Bonus is you get access to the outdoor pool at the Pan Pacific so bring swimsuits! RMTs vary at this place. As always just don't be afraid to speak up if the pressure isn't ideal. I'm sometimes guilty of that.

Going to the spa is defiantly a treat. I booked a RMT deep tissue massage online (easy enough). I booked with Krystin. She was fantastic. I've had my share of RMT massage and she gave good pressure and a balance of relaxation. I also love the extra warm towel they use. All the extra detail was awesome. I often don't go to the spa because its expensive, but this visit was worth it!!

I don't think I ever would have ventured all the way down to Pan Pacific hotel for a 55 minute RMT massage appointment if I didn't receive a gift card from my sister. And I'm so glad I did.
If you don't plan on using the hotel's parking lot...After entering the hotel you walk straight towards the screens until the very end of the hallway and take the escalators down to the CS floor to reach the entrance of spa utopia.
I suggest coming half an hour earlier if it's your first time here just to explore some of the facilities they offer and enjoy some of the complimentary

The massage itself was great. It would have been nice to have a quiet room where no one spoke and I could just relax before or after a massage. The waiting area offers some beverages, dried fruit and nuts for people to snack on.
I did not try the sauna or steam room. The hot tub in the pool area was broken. Also, the pool is on a separate floor and I find the pool location not convenient for spa guests. Touch up on make up what offered on the way out. That was a nice gesture.
This is a decent spa if you are in the downtown area for the price.

My RMT Eugene was relatively attentive and knowledgable in what he was doing, and despite me being nervous having a male RMT work on me, he was able to make me feel relatively relaxed during my 50min swedish massage.
