Our practice focus is patient-centred and it is important to us that you have a good experience at each and every visit. We strive to provide a stress-free environment where you can receive your dental treatment in a relaxed and friendly setting. We also offer evening hours for your convenience. New patients and emergencies are always welcome at East Hill Family Dentistry.
A child's first visit and subsequent visits early on set the stage for their attitudes towards the dentist and their oral health. We aim to make a child's dental experience both fun and interactive. I am a strong believer that it is a good idea that parents seek dental advise as soon as the first teeth erupt.
Most commonly, teeth are now restored with a white composite resin material that is bonded to the internal aspect of the tooth. Other materials that exist include dental amalgam (silver fillings) and fluoride releasing dental restoratives. There are benefits to each type of material and we aim to match the restorative material to each clinical situation.
In-office and at-home bleaching trays: We offer two different ways to whiten your smile. In office bleaching is completed in one appointment at our office and allows patient's to leave with a whiter smile following their visit. At home bleaching trays are made from a custom mould of your teeth and are designed to deliver just the right amount of whitening agent to your teeth.
Oral cancer can affect anyone. Risk factors include smoking, excessive alcohol consumption and excessive sun exposure, amongst others. During your comprehensive examination the oral cavity and soft tissue structures within it are scanned for abnormal spots, red or white patches or intraoral lumps or bumps.

East Hill Family Dentistry is incredible with kids. They took time to explain all of their equipment and their process to my child. They treated my 5 year old with dignity and respect.
It is refreshing to find a dental office that is willing to slow down and take the time to explain their ideas behind treatment.
The way they billed the insurance company was ethical and fair (they are not milking the system).

I had been visiting East Hill Dental for the last while to try to correct some dental issues. Like many, I had experienced a considerable amount of dental anxiety in the past. However, after my first appointment with Dr. Rayan, if felt extremely comfortable. Like many others have mentioned below, he takes the time to explain exactly what he is doing and why. He communicates during the procedure, being sure check your comfort level, and giving updates on the progress. Hands so steady, I have never felt the initial freezing.

Yesterday I went in for a procedure that was ultimately unsuccessful. The dentists gave it their best efforts and tried a variety of methods. At all times they provided a detailed commentary about what they were doing and why. I received a thorough explanation of the problem and feel that I have a good explanation of why it was not possible to complete the work without much assurance of long term stability. The dentist told me he could complete it but that he didn't think it was worth it as it was likely that I would continue to have problems. At the end of two hours of determined efforts I went

Incredibly professional staff. Our entire family uses this practice and my children feel safe in their care. Our son even had an extraction with no fear and no sedation; he was completely confortable. The dental work is exceptional. Sincerest thanks to this team. We highly recommend this practice! East Hill Family Dentistry is a great dental office! I was anxious about going to the dentist but Dr. Ryan and Brianna took my worries away. This office is both a professional and comfortable environment. Dr. Ryan always explains the procedure he is about to do, while periodically checking to see if I'm doing okay. Each appointment was a positive experience, as I was surrounded by friendly people. You can tell they genuinely care about what you have to say. I feel confident in the work done to my teeth... And the building looks amazing too! Clean, bright, and modern. Definitely a 5 star rating

Dr Brett and the staff are wonderful! I always have a great experience (even if I need to get a filling!). Most recently I took my daughter for her first dentist visit and it went soooo much better than I imagined! The hygienist was fantastic with her and although I was terrified of taking her and was worried it was going to be cavity central, we walked away with no cavities! Thank you to the amazing staff at East Hill!
