My mother has over 25 years of experience in the drycleaning industry, she studied tailoring in Punjab as a young woman and is a skilled seamstress and presser. She has experience in cleaning and repairing wedding dresses, leather and suede items, and most fabric items like dog beds and industrial clothing!
My sister and I have been helping out in our stores since 2006 and in more recent years our roles in our family business have grown. Got 4 different Canada Goose jackets (red, purple, navy, white colors) cleaned here over the years and they all turned out fantastic. Highly recommended for that! Not super expensive either, considering the value of CG jackets.

Our story began in 1994 when my mother Kuldeep Bolina immigrated to Canada with my grandparents, she started off by pressing clothes for free at multiple dry cleaners in Edmonton to gain experience and eventually landed a paying position at one for $5.00 an hour. Once she had earned enough money, she flew back to Punjab to marry my father, Satinderpal Singh Bolina and brought him with her!
We use a Hydrocarbon drycleaning machine instead of traditional Tetrachloroethylene or "perc" machines. We offer alterations of all shapes and sizes, whether that be simply needing a button reattached or resizing a whole suit jacket to fit you perfectly. Wedding Gowns are one of the most sentimental clothing items ever and we recognize their importance, but we also recognize that their cleaning and alteration costs shouldn't be sky high.
We are committed to reducing the amount of single use plastics and unnecessary packaging we use in packaging our orders. We also have switched our drycleaning machines from tetrachloroethylene or 'perc' to the more environmentally friendly hydrocarbon machines. We are in the process of switching our stain tags, shirt bags and zip ties to ones that are made of 100% recycled materials.

I had a dress that was stained and wrinkled that I needed cleaned and pleated. I needed it last minute for a wedding and the staff went above and beyond to make it happen. The dress came back in less than 24 hrs cleaned and pleated and I was amazed at how great it looked. The price was extremely fair and I will be recommending this place to everyone I know.

The owner of this place is absolutely amazing. recently I’ve had to had lots of my clothes taken in and she has done such an amazing job for a very reasonable price. I buy fairly expensive clothes so I was a little nervous at first but she did the best job! If you need something tailored this is your place! I also needed something done very last minute and she was more than willing to help me out! the service here is incredible and I don’t know what I would do without this lady! she is the best!

I've had dry cleaning, alterations, and repairs done here, and have had great experiences each time! It's a family owned business and they are very kind and friendly, and the price was always reasonable. They're also fast, with everything I had done ready for pickup the next day.

My husband and I have been going to Holyrood Drycleaners for over 15 years and have never had a bad experience. I have only good things to say. It is a family run business and we feel welcomed (even by name) everytime we go. I have had many dresses altered and lengthened and the craftsmanship is perfection. The owner has even suggested different styles and techniques for lengthening and has even purchased the material for me. The prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!

This place is amazing! I brought in my lacy wedding dress which had a black bottom still full of bits of nature from our outdoor wedding - the price was amazing and it looked almost brand new! I also brought in a custom suit, women's blazer, and some silk ties for cleaning - they did a great job with great prices! I also got some invisible snaps nicely resewn on my cardigan.

I have only had wonderful experiences here. This is a family-owned business with really caring and genuine people behind the counter. They work hard, fast, and do a great job. I had my wedding dress tailored extensively here for an extremely affordable price and it turned out beautifully. The turnaround time was incredible. I don't live that close but I'll gladly drive the distance to bring my clothes here for cleaning and/or tailoring.
