Our courts, located in the Lawrence Park ravine, were constructed in 1912 as part of the development of the Lawrence Park Estates, the brainchild of Wilfrid Servington Dinnick. Originally the focus was on lawn bowling, with tennis considered a secondary activity for the families and friends of the bowlers.

Services
Lawrence Park Tennis Club welcomes Adult, Intermediate and Junior members at all levels of play. Membership includes use of the courts during the club's permitted hours and participation in all club activities. We are located in Alexander Muir Memorial Gardens, south of Lawrence Avenue and east of Yonge Street.
The all-white dress code at Lawrence Park Tennis Club is a long-standing and continuing tradition. All tennis shirts, shorts, skirts and dresses must be all-white with up to a maximum 10% colour trim (including hats/visors). Shirts with large writing, advertising or pictures are not acceptable, even if predominantly white.
In 2019 it took place at Glenview Presbyterian Church, 1 Glenview Avenue. Our AGM is an important event for LPTC members. Board members report on key events from the past season, the financial position of the club, and members elect their Board of Directors for the coming season. We strive to preserve a pleasant and respectful environment both on and off the court so that all members can use and enjoy the club's facilities to the fullest extent.

The highest level of sportsmanship, courtesy, respect for others, and fair play is expected. Respect toward others regardless of age, gender or sexual orientation, race, culture or religion.
The Constitutional Review Committee is charged with ensuring the best interests of the Club are protected and reflected in our Bylaw. This involves regular review which has been time consuming, at times very technical and often tedious.
